That is one method, you got to be really careful when cutting the mounts off, If your good with a welded and bending of steel, you can make them up and sit it where you want, and weld to the KE crossmember, and modify the engine block mounts accordingly I still used the silvia mounts, and i have a trust sump and clears the sway bar etc
