  1. Have a look at the clutch plate..... Mine seemed slightly too small! There was a bit of meat left inside the contact area. DidYou machine your fw?
  2. Carbed yeah? Checked the dizzy isn't locked?
  3. Latter My c in brackets turned into a copyright symbol
  4. Yeah 4/5k are the same. I just checked mine, the 7k© one is like 100mm longer!

    Dirt

Quite possibly..... But not until my turbo car is back on the road. It would also be sold unregistered.
  6. PM Toy-yoda. He came and measured one of mine recently for the same reason. ;)
  7. But a heavier spring will make the pedal very heavy when trying to get off the line. With this the clamping pressure increases as its required. I still get a little bit of clutch slip with the Exedy HD button!!! With the old extreme clutch it started slipping @ 10psi, you can actually hear it in my youtube dyno vids and see it on the graph! Just buy it stu!
  8. .......And then you take it home to find out you can't put it on your shifter shaft with breaking it down! If you put it in a bench vice you can break the rubber in the upper part of the shift with some vice grips. Slide the boot on an re-assemble with some sikaflex. ;)
  9. Some sort of hilux, not sure what sorry.
  10. Hope they're not all with telstra! :P
  11. Hey mate, Don't think you need a pic, its pretty simple. Just strip the dizzy down until you find a set of springs on the advance weights. Remove them, replace with tie wire (to lock out mechanical advance) and re-assemble. Done. Set static timing to 20-25* BTDC. .....Just don't expect it to start easily on a cold morning. ;) Cheers, Si.

    Hello

Know of a couple of ke20's if you're keen rob?
  13. They're contained within the extension housing. You also need to make sure you get the KE70 T50 shifter too as they're also different from KE55 style ones.

    Hello

Has gone anywhere in the last 6 months. Sitting in my shed with a BHG 7KTE in it. In the process of rebuilding my 5k to go back in shortly. So I'm driving the shitty old car at the moment.

    Hello

The car pictured in Rob's avatar is now mine.... Known as "Tar" We both bought sets from Meridian Motor Sport in Melbourne.... but they don't make them anymore (were made as TE27 flares). There is a member here though that is making/selling them - He actually used to work for Meridian.... maybe he pinched the moulds they no longer need! Anyway search for username ".T."

    Hello

Still some regs around mate! Don't know of any off the top of my head, don't pop up too often in tas.
  17. 200mm fly and t18 t50 kit didn't fit in my k-t. Pressure plate only just fouled. Even if the liteace pp did fit in a k40/50 bellhousing then the clutch plate would be too big for the input spline! Short answer - use the 180mm kit.
  18. Yes mate, ke55 and ke30 are the same. 35, 36 & 38 too btw!
  19. Just postage cost
  20. Carter - search and you'll find previous rants!
  21. Graphs are like handbags slw, the possessor is always right! :P
  22. I've got a 5m dizzy in the shed if you want it?
  23. Must be a 4ku. Apparently the go better than the kc! edit - yeah they use the longer spark plugs as pictured.
  24. Madrolla & I paid 250 each.
  25. Round out the ovals and you have 3kbp sized ports, that's what I did with mine.
