ok peeps finally on the laptop!! got lots n lots of photos I'm bout to up load!!! its coming up too 7 year project but well worth it the car still needs few days too finish off all the wiring n interior parts... like the paint gauge panel, s15 seats that kinda small stuff don't have a whole heap of interior pics as i don't have acess too my car atm :( but yeah let me know what your thoughts oh n it made 240kw at the treads =)

FINALLY PROGRESS!!! got a new t3 garret turbo, 550cc injectors turbosmart wastegate 05 wrx seats, and got the wheel track width sussed out :D. its getting wired up and going to get it running within the next month or so then take it to get mod plated!!! can't wait sorry its been soooo long alot of shit has been preventing me from progress!! but its all go now :jamie:

do ya searches on here mate there is a few thread and pics make sure u have the $$ get what price u think and double it and u will be around what it will cost.

there are a few threads about couple people have put an sr into a ke30.I'm currently doin one atm.. oh what a nissan feeling. just do sum searching around the site. hope this helps you

hey mate ive have a early model hilux diff in my ke30/55 and i didnt have to shorten it at all its roughly 50mm bigger in width than standard corolla diffs. not sure what model its out of its like pre 80's 2wd.. to rebuild my lsd and get it put in was $2500... good luck with it hope this helps johnnyt

yeah my 55 had the brackets for the head lights but my 30 doesnt i guess I'm just gonna have to look around for the right grill if i can't find it ill just leave it.. thanks guys

hey guys just wondering what ke30/ round headlight grill has the most room behind it? because i had to cut my intercooler in to this one in the pic and i don't like it. and i want to try eliminate re mounting my intercooler! cause of my stainless pipes and everything has already been made.. or a way to mount the ke55 headlights into it so i can use the honeycombe grill in it like i did in my ke55 or any other suggestions to solve my problem. any opinion would be helpful! johnnyt

sure is buddy yours looks good.hopefully mine will turn out brighter and shiner than yours but thats what i prefer

hey i got it off an engineer he said he would pass it.(not complaining) there really only to get it mod plated then I'm gonna get some rims to fit it without spaces :bash:. ive tried heaps of rims nuthing comes close like the ones i have.so spaces are my last option and if he will pass it I'm happy with doin it i know its not properly done but they wont be on there long.. johnnyt

yeah thats it there within 50mm bigger or so.. yeah had to grind the old mounts off and weld them onto the hilux not sure about the pinion angle i didnt do it myself i got an engineer to do it. fits nicely!

yeah i agree i reckon no oil or ya oil pump is shagged.but have you checked the oil?

i agree! i got a hilux diff in my 30. i was noticing alot of people are saying they have shortened there diffs what hilux is that out of new or old? ive got mine out of a really early hilux 2wd and i didnt have to shorten it at all :wink: I'm not sure it could have to do with the body sizes between the ke30 and ke20 ect but just thought id ask the question.johnnyt

thats it nuthing. making sum progress on getting it mod plated tho ive got the wheels susses out (track width) ect .. ive used 185/55/15 on the front with ford au offset rims but have to use 5-8mm spacers because the tire hits on the strut. spacers are allowed to use only if they are glued onto the hub with sikaflex or sumthing of that nature so it can't move around on the studs. but if anyone was gonna do it id check with ur engineer first. and on the bak i have use 195/50/15 with ford au offset and there fine no spaces needed. so now all i need to do is get it bak from the panel beaters and then put the engine in wire it up get the ride hights and take it to get mod plated! but untill i get it bak from the panel beaters I'm stuck with things to do :P but will post more when things happen :P

try any plugs going to the dizzy even the connection to the connectors or if anything has fallen off the coil or sumthing not connected.good luck with it
