i gota t3-t4 turbo, i got all my tailshaft and diff work done by weatherhead in derwent park if you need someone to do it thats an option. 6 speed gee your posh!! oh really that sucks bout the dash haha i thought i was bein different cause noone does that in rollas haha ohwell! where bouts do you live i live in margate bot 20 mins south of hobart. all i need is to get mine wired up painted convert it to hydrolic and mod plated and a few other things and then i can drive mine can't wait!! what colour are you goin with your rolla? johnnyt

hey there i finally got pics of mine not many but a few. i put in for a modplate and if youre car weighs 900kg you can put a 2250 forced induction engine in it there is a site you can go to find the conversion tables and all the info you need to get your car mod plated ... www.infastructure.gov.au/roads/vehicle_regulation/bulliten/index.aspx (vsb14) i put in for my mod plate and i got knocked back because of the track width in the front and rear our not allowed to have less or greater than 25mm in width from standard. also tyre sizes can't be 15mm larger in diametre or 26mm smaller than standard corolla sizes I'm gonna ring up and have a chat to them about it see what they have to say and if i can get them to pass it or what i have to do for them to make it passable (if i have to increase and reduce sizes ) here are a few pics of my car so far johnnyt

hey i got my sr20 to fit and its all good now i got pics but i dot have a cord to put them on the computer but ill find a way!! :) its off gettin the engine bay painted at the moment but when it comes back ill post sum more pics!

does the ae86 bolt straight up to the ke55 control arms and all that sorta stuff?

hey guys i was just wondering if anyone knows what sorta struts will fit straight into the normal stud holes in a ke55 corolla because i need to upgrade to bigger brakes and just want to know everyones opinion!

kingston beach has its days where there isnt any parks or there is heaps just depends on the day! i would love to cum to the meetings but my rolla is in the process of a conversion so its outa action for a while! :y: but as soon as my rolla is back in action id be up for meetings!

hey matt um i had the engine touching the firewall and it was still hitting by heaps bout 100-200mm. all i can think off is that the ke30 like urs and a ke55 like mine has a different crossmember and steering or sumthing because there was noway it is gonna fit. other than that i got no idea :D, ive heard ke70's have a straight crossmember and thats what i need for it to sit because there is noway it will go in as it is now :) but i don't no if the ke70 k frame bolt up and if i can change the steering aswell.but like i said i rekon its either the engines r diff or its the difference in the ke30 kframe/ crossmember and the ke55. johnnyt

haha yeah idoes anyone have pictures of it sitting in there when they were making engine mounts cause id like to see where there sat compared to mine.

the gearbox where it mouts on the back of the engine thats where it hits. yeah i got a good mate that is a auto elec so that part is sorted. what car is ur sr20 out of?I'm so confused y mine hits and urs doesnt :) also the pedal box how do u mean its not to difficult what did u do?, the brake booster and the master cylinder what did u use for them and does it hit from standard mounting position?

hey i forgot i wrote in this post sorry! um it hits on all the steering and cross member yeah it would be great if you could get me as much info as u can cause I'm still keen on it but in a few different minds but I'm gonna do bit more research before i do anymore. i got my sr20det in a s13 half cut so i got wiring and all that sorta stuff I'm real keen on this but i wanna be more sure and no what i have to do before i go any further.like i said every little bit of info will be apreciated!:) johnny t

tried puttin my sr20det in my corolla yesterday it is near impossible to fit without spendin big $$$ I'm shatterd i was looking forward to doin it
