  1. does it leak all the time or only when running?? Sometimes with these things you need to get the torch out and keep a close eye on it. You can usually get all those hoses from repco and what not.

  3. Alright awesome, i am still waiting to hear back if my car will be back in time or not. Where and when do you guys plan on meeting at and when ?
  4. Cool man, yeah I didn't end up heading out last night ended up removing some dead weight from my car. Where is usually a good place to meet up and cruise too? I'm newish to Perth and haven't seen much of it yet. I got Google maps tho
  5. Hey guys I've been floating around in the background for a while and bit unsure if this is appropriate or not so sorry in advance. However I was wondering are their many of you that are interested in going out on a leisurely cruise to anywhere. I work all week and I find taking the rolla out for a blast really clears my head and I often head out with other mates in BMW and wrx but interested to know if others are keen to meet up and go for a drive. Nothing to serious! I usually like to head out during the evenings when the daily hustle and bustle is off the road. If it gets popular we could make it more of a permanent meet. Anyway guys let me know your thoughts ill be heading out this weekend like I usually do so if anyone is keen to meet up. Chat about cars, go for a drive. Post up! Cheers guys
  6. i should be in too with my Supercharged goodness! I should be attending Toyotas in the park also! Get a chance to meet up with you guys!
  7. Hey man, just read up about your car seems like alot of time and effort has gone into it.. Good write up man!
  8. i like what youve done with your car, youve given it your personal touch and thats what matters! It does look good tho.. White car + black rims is good!
  9. I shall be attending.. I think you need to fill out the entry form to have yuor car viewable in the show.. Anyone from Rockingham area heading up ? We should meet up before hand and all cruise up
  10. Hey guys How would these rims fit onto ae92 15x6.5 inch with +35 offset, 4x100 PCD, 73mm hub bore
  11. Hey guys, I'm currently on the hunt for a replacement set of Leads for GZE and where to source the igniters for the twin coil packs. I'm currenlty running 1 stock and 1 aftermarket. But id like to return to running either 2x stock or 2 of the same rather thna random mixed up stuff.. Also a set of leads. Ive done quite a bit of searching and the magnacore obviously come up. Ive found Top Gun at repco also do a set, however they run a mix of leads for 4AGZE import motors. So best bet is to order in what looks close enough and go from there. Is there any other advice people can offer in terms of this issue? My main reason for concern is the motor misses and doesnt run correctly and ive diagnosed it as bad ignition setup. I'm going to have a crack at modifiying few other bits and pieces, but best option would be fresh new parts. Would it be a wiser idea to just go for something more readily available, like hyundai, LS1, 7MGTE coils ? rather than a stock unit ? I'm running a Wolf3d v3 with a hand controller. Cheers guys
  12. If you don't go K motor a 1j or 2jz would be the go. Fwd with all that go. On a more serious note either 4age or gze are good choices I've just moved from a 4age to a gze and the step up is awesome the gze has so much more punch the the non sc version to be fair tho the ge is still kick arse engine
  13. LOL oops....... well you never know could still be hacking away at it!
  14. haha true, yes that is what i ment
  15. are the points still good, not too mega corroded ?
  16. Have u checked to make sure the radiator cap is still holding a good seal, sounds silly, my mates WRX we thought was leaking and we didnt know from where, until realised the crap around the radiator. Could be something as easy as that!
  17. Also in all toyota's esp the sporty ones, you should be running Toyota red coolant, not only to preserve the motor, but cause its really good coolant. my 4AGE rarely gets above half on the temp gauge even in super hot, humid conditions. Also remember to bleed any air out when u change the coolant.
  18. To change the fuel filter, you need to take the charcoal canister out of the way, i just undid 1 bolt, 2 bolts hold the fuel filter onto the fire wall, both ends of the fuel line that connect to the filter have a thread bolt, so crack them and your in business, youll lose some fuel and also make sure to undo fuel cap to relieve pressure from fuel line. Jobs done! Blocked fuel filter wont make it run rich, it will just make it run poorly. Whenu bought my AE93 the 4AGE ran like crap, didnt like to rev much, struggled to start, one i replaced the fuel filter the old one was sooo full of black goo, the new filter made a huge improvement!
  19. 4a-f and auto isn't the best combo esp if you chasing power, I think in your case the greatest benefit will be a freshen up, so oil and oil filter, plugs and leads, fuel filter and a tidy and clean up will restore few lost ponies. If you wanted to spend a little time and.effort a good cold air intake will score you a bit more power also. Depends on your budget. Cai shouldn't be more than 60-100 depending on how adventerous you want to get. But ultimately and realistically a good service should do the trick. To give u proof, I picked up ae93 sx for dirt cheap and was.neglected basically gave it overhaul and a tidy up my fuel economy has improved by about 50%, goes a shit ton better and actually had someone offer me 5k cause its uber neat!
