AE86 front onto an E7 is doable and has been done but I have not seen a treuno front on one altho I don't see why it wouldnt fit.\

This is getting set back another 6 months, A very substancial 'body' upgrade is happening, I have spoken to another member about getting parts for me which will most likely happen in August but once it is done it will be very unique and will have alot of car owners (especially chev, holden & ford) raising their eyebrows in disbelief.

Yeah but the simplicity of the dash you wouldnt think it would have, I didnt notice till i left the key on for 5 minutes one day.

Hey guys I'm trying to get some parts for my car but I'm unaware of the dimensions of all the fitting parts so I need someone to act as a middle man and grab what parts are needed, The car is US based and I don't know anyone over there that will get parts for me and so on so is anyone planning on taking a holiday there anytime soon? Ah, I thought you meant they were different again, I love the look of them, I was going to put the E7 tacho dash in mine but it grew on me so I decided to go external tacho, They also have a fuel light :wink:

I seem to have alot of experience with red ring, The 2nd time i got mine back I was told that it had the new soldered board in it that wont fail, It failed, I have only had it back for about a month so i will see how it goes, They do take your xbox apart tho because they have to work out where the fault is and they put the new board into your housing so you keep your serial number and so on.

f@$k here we go again. Umm judge? I'm not trying to deflect the personality of anyone, I just think that it is something that needs to be looked at to help drivers with real life issues, I wasnt perfect with my driving, I was kicked out of home when i was 16 so when I got my learners I drove unsupervised as I had no one to help me and when it came time to get my P's I had developed several bad habits like not driving 10 - 2 but anyway Ben think what you like.

One thing that gets me is the amount of people that have said to me that they are scared or nervous the first few times they drive on thier own, They have always had someone beside them to give them what little guidance they need, I think they should do something to make young drivers more confident driving on thier own, I don't really have anything to suggests but it needs to be done.

My excuse is having too much time on my hands due to being on xmas holidays but this sorta thing normally happens over the xmas/school holidays.

Its not to the everyday backyarder that we are but panelshops don't wanna really touch old cars these days, They probably looked at the fact that they would have to repair the damaged panels as OEM ones are not available (just saying) and paint matching paint that is 30 odd years old can be a time staking task. Mensch are you claiming it on insurance? In all honesty the 1100 is alot of money for that repair to that car, I wouldnt like to pay anymore than 600 for the repair, Maybe give DIY a go. Just a thought.
