  1. Matt if it is any help I have found some info but I don't know how thick the 4k pushrods are: Chevy - Big Block (396-454) are 3/8" in diameter, Have a wall thickness of 0.080" and are 196.21mm long. Chevy - Small Block are 3/8" in diameter, Have a wall thickness of 0.080" and are 198.11mm long.
  2. Front end looks hot, Might I suggest that you take the headlights apart and paint the inside of the plastic housing, I have seen it done and it looks tops. EDIT: Paint them black that is
  3. Matt I will have a look at what we have at work, We have alot of pushrods in boxes, There might be something out of a Triumph that you might be able to use
  4. No, Well I have not seen anyone having too.
  5. If you go for something like a 272 you will have to get a different ecu and change the bucket/shim setup. It goes Cam Shaft> Shim> Bucket> Valve.
  6. No. Do it before you put the motor in, Save yourself alot of hassle if you have never done one. Only a dyno could tell you that but 75 - 80 kw's. Yes, If you look at a cam manufacturers specifications it will tell you what is needed but don't go over a 256 degree.
  7. No worries bro
  8. Nah Des has just said that you now get 2 points but if you lose those points then you lose it for 6 months, I was on my opens when I went on my good behaviour (needed it as i was in feild service) but if I had given it up for the 3 months i would of got my opens back with 9 points.
  9. The PWR inline water to air intercoolers work very well and are compact.
  10. Ha even then that isn't alot.
  11. Its a better option to be off the road for 3 months and then get your licence back then have to drive on 1 point for a year.
  12. It was probably the sale ad that I posted to you, Was the guy in WA?
  13. It probably won't happen again but atleast you will know
  14. Ok, our MAXI's are just hiace vans, Me and my mate have spent a lot of time in them...
  15. No its not, You only shave a head if it needs it.
  16. Next time just unplug the tps plug, It will run and you can drive it.
  17. Maxi's have an internal ramp and you can't see them from the rear (except in the rear window), The cars i mostly see with the semi external lifts are mazda 121's with the modified high roof and they are bloody expensive.
  18. And we realised that someone has broken the alternator sense wiring off of the alternator
  19. It went under the chop on friday
  20. Jon came over today so I could look at it. THE OIL LEAK IS NOW FIXED, IT WAS NUMBER 2 & 3 SPARK PLUG TUBE.
  21. MMMM that tastes good Darla.
  22. Yeah no shit but Jon needs his car, He can't just give it up, I told Jon I didnt want to do it that way but all he needs right now is a car that does not leak oil so he can park on job sites without getting into shit, Once he gets the money he is registering another car and taking the 5k out to get rebuilt. Don't try to make out that I don't know what I'm doing, I did what the 'customer' wanted.
  23. $120 here at Ipswich Upholstry
  24. You left out the sagging roof/hood lining.
  25. They reckon that the factory ecu and map sensor will compensate for 10 psi (rumoured?) so its up to him what he wants to do. Ok, 8-10 is the stock boost for a GZE.
