  1. What reed said.
  2. So it is a CS, CS-X, Spirit? :P It has/had 13" stockies and a vinyl hood lining. I actually emailed the dealer that the car was purchased from but they said to go to toyota aus as it dates back too far.
  3. That bumper came up a treat
  4. I was all over it in mid the mid 00's, and then the flat cappin dead beats rolled in.
  5. lol yeah, it does with some models.
  6. That AE71-EMSFA is also for a CS too.
  7. 'SPIRIT' MODEL AE71-EMSFA http://www.scribd.com/doc/47687834/Toyota-Model-Identification Well that is weird.
  8. Myes
  9. Hmmm, I was just reading through my owners manuals and across this in the front where the vehicle details are: I am guessing that SPT means Spirit?
  10. Can you ditch all trades and keep your apprentice?
  11. I did it in the 70 van, pull it all the way forward and push at the base (closest to steering column) with one hand and pull on the end with the other hand (tip). Make sense?
  12. Nah I meant to that brochure.
  13. Yeah I found that on old mates build thread but there was more to it.
  14. Yeah from the pics it isn't bad.
  15. Yeah, I was using this: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/1389-ke70-ae71-data/
  16. Nah not all.
  17. Or littleredspirit
  18. So I got my 71 on the weekend and as soon as I seen it I immediately thought 'spirit' as it has several spirit features (interior, wing and grille) but it is badged as a CS-X. Now I can remember something from my old ae71 sales brochure that said that the spirit was basically a stickered CS-X. Basic run down: 2 tone seats. Colour coded grille. Spirit wing And all the other cs-x options (except boot/fuel release). passenger vanity mirror. internally adjusted side mirrors. Tacho dash. Console compartment. retracting rear belts. Front door pockets. Now I don't really care if it's a cs-x or if it's a spirit as it isn't going to change anything but I am just curious as to what it is, CS-X fitted from factory with spirit stuff perhaps.
  19. Most of the circuit cars I have worked on have LSD's that tight that you may as well weld the diff.
  20. About time there is a tastefully inspired JDM build without these stupid ʞ©$ɟing hang rings and it being called a drifter. welcome to the E7 anti drift club.
  21. How much rust do you have to work with?
  22. :D
  23. Still costs you a minimum of 1100 bucks to put twin webers on a 4ag, my 45's were 800 but I did a part trade with some 40's I had, then you have the manifold, filters, fuel pump and ignition system which I went with the hyperpak.
  24. Ok. Yeah just hope it doesn't come to that, won't be any clutch kicks and whatnot so I hope it stays together.
