  1. Fair call but I just remember another scenario on here when another member had a car that was immaculate and he bent it. I myself would love to find an original, unmolested low k's ke70 to add to my collection, point is it is now very hard. The guy I got the 71 off asked me up front if it was for drifting or track use... Also, when I was selling my 4ag AE71 I had a few enquires from people that said they wanted to use it as a drift car and I told them that I wont be selling it to them, one even offered me 500 more than the asking price, think I am full of shit then ask the new owner as straight up I asked him what his intentions were and he said it was to be his daily driver while he did his ke10 and he wanted something different and yes he has taken it down the 1/4 a few times.
  2. LOL, ʞ©$ɟ me, sorry that I am passionate about a car and I am sick of seeing them run into the ground because idiots these days just wanna buy them to remove the interior, lock the diff and cut the springs to go do hoops and what not and then want $3000 for an E7 that is a shitbox. I am a corolla enthusiast, there a not many nice clean examples of e7's around anymore and there won't be for long. I thought that I had a very valid reply in that THREAD lastnight. I was once also putting together a ke70 p/van for track use but the car was already past it's use by date so I didn't have a problem with doing so. You are also thinking that I am talking about the majority when I am infact talking about the minority. The other thing that shits me is when I tell someone that I have an ae71 they ask if it is a 'drifter' And here is a bit of info for you, I came across a rollaclub display at a driftzone drift meet back in 2006 and joined that night, cool story hey...
  3. Mrs doesn't wanna drive a manual.
  4. I think that if you are a young kid then you shouldn't buy it as it will end up with cut springs, a locked diff, dents, mis-matched wheels and look like all the other E7's that were in good condition before being purchased as a drifter.
  5. It feels great to drive once again, the rear left brake adjuster was bent and damn there was some decent wear in the front rotors. Next on the list: cv shafts, front suspension (struts mainly), fix the drivers seat and remove the window tint.
  6. What is the harness for? Looks awesome.
  7. I hate motorbike acco's, on or off road?
  8. Sound and feel?
  9. Have a full set of brand new brakes to go on this which I will hopefully do tomorrow. Front rotors and pads. Rear drums, shoes and wheel cylinders. And all very fooking cheap which are the perks of working for a large parts company.
  10. Looks great from the front.
  11. hahaha
  12. For the price I paid I will be getting 571 mail order brides.
  13. Blower is leaving Japan :wootjump:
  14. Yo, With the upcoming arrival of my blower kit, I am trying to sort out my rwd stuff and the main thing I am concerned about is the top water outlet as the blower sits right next to it and the hose has to go around the belt area. Does anyone have a top water outlet from a rwd 4age I can borrow so I can see if it will fit? Item in question: http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?title=File:Top_Rad_Outlet.jpg Blower setup in 86:
  15. Clean interior.
  16. I like them, swap for mine :P
  17. Looking good
  18. That makes sense, cheers mate.
  19. Ok, I still don't understand the cs-x badge since it is a Spirit or CS.
  20. Yeah but how do I explain the "SPT" in the model code?
  21. But if it was a CS-X it would have a boot/fuel release and velour hood lining. It is just confusing.
  22. Ha, I wasn't expecting that you random prick :P
  23. Dish on a coon :y:
