  1. Oh wow, ALL the way down there??? Screw that, maybe if I decided to go to Victoria one day I'll go there  For some bizzare reason I thought it was like near the top... Heh... When I do go down there chances are I'll bring grandpa wagon, I really don't see myself driving Hal all the way down there...
  2. Heh, I don't really care too much about who wins idol or what they get yadda yadda yadda (just the same I don't care about Big Brother or any of the others), I just like watching people sing  And Chanel can sing :S And she seems to have more personality and stuff than most of the other "barbie dolls"...
  3. Now you're just being mean. Next time I'm in NSW, I'll also go to Ballina. Where on earth is Bega anyway???
  4. Yes those reverse 180's are... different  I definately need to practice them more, and get the guts to try to do them into the garage... Next club motorkhana maybe? :y: Rob: Thanks :S Now I just have to get Brian to set up Hal like Paul's AE86... :)
  5. Already exists. If you notice (well on some cars anyway) there is a flap on the air filter for "hot" or "cold" (or sometimes "summer" and "winter"). That flap, when in "cold" mode, basically sucks air from just above the exhaust manifold to help get warm air into the carb.
  6. I soooooo can't help myself.
  7. SHE GOT THROUGH!!! YAY!!!
  8. SHE'S IN THE TOP 4!!! GO CHANEL!!!
  9. Next time I'm in NSW, I'm going to Bega
  10. Yes I am sad, but I have to say that Chanel Cole absolutely rocks! :S *edit* ps: If you don't know who Chanel Cole is then you probably have a life, much unlike me
  11. Yes, legally you have to also have to keep the mechanical handbrake
  12. It does have it's own master cylinder, but no it plumbs in to the existing brake system
  13. Heh, I like the way mine looks more too, but there's so much more fun in that car  Plus he gets to go and play on dirt rallies, I can't :S
  14. Is there one on the 29th? I have no idea. It wasn't organised by HSCCQ, so results probably won't reach us any sooner than it will reach you. Maybe it'll be on the GCTMC website...
  15. It's got nice stuff in it. Stuff I want.
  16. Jamie: You must be a little blind then
  17. It's a rally car. Mine isn't. Plus that isn't the final paintjob, it's the base coat
  18. Also, make sure you have good earths. It's amazing what strange things can happen when you miss an earth
  19. Oh yeah, it's also got a Holinger gearbox
  20. There was a KE35 at the motorkhana at South Port yesterday, it wasn't competing, but it was WAAAAY too cool to miss... When Hal grows up it wants to be like this one  And more photos I didn't catch all the specs (I think Rob might know more), but off the top of my head it has a worked 2TG (bored out to 2L), Wilwood pedal box, Wilwood 4-pot calipers on the front, Gemini 2-pot calipers on the rear, Wilwood brake bias dial, Mazda diff with detroit locker, Sparco seats, very comprehensive rollcage... I really like his spare wheel arrangement and I'd actually like to copy it in Hal. He has a battery-operated rattle gun and he recons with the current arrangement he can get out of the car, change a wheel and get back in the car in under 2 minutes... WOW. All in all, a very very awesome car :S
  21. Oh wow, happy birthday
  22. Hey look who's there on the right with the "po-fessional" orange vest???
  23. And here's more
  24. Heh, yes I definately need a locker or an LSD or something. I think I probably spent a very good part of today just sitting around doing absolutely nothing except creating tyre smoke. Off the start line I spend half a minute just spooling up my right wheel, then I get to the first corner, if I'm lucky I get the handbrake to work, and then I just sit there doing nothing again waiting to get some sort of traction... And then I watch Paul go out with his open diff and pull big skids, am I doing something drastically wrong??? Ah well... Rob - as always, a pleasure to watch  *edit* Overall, no I don't think I'm really happy with today. The handbrake sort works now (YAY), but the tests were on overall rather crappy, and made worse because they were shrunk. The few good tests they had were completely destroyed by making them so narrow... The venue was too small, with curbs on either side and a rather big ditch in the middle... Lifted wheels, hit the curb, did all sorts of bad things today...
  25. As you probably already know (from my above posts) my pick would be between the FZ10 and the S1. The S1 seems to have gotten overall better reviews (though they've both gotten very good reviews), but the FZ10 just has such uber cool features (I really like the focus ring and the HUGE lens) and looks really cool too...
