  1. YAY :)
  2. amylee. Is that like Amy + Lee? Or like Amelie/Emily, but different?
  3. Hmm, now we all know what Mel fantasizes about :D *shivers* :)
  4. Scantily-clad Jamie... *AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA*
  5. Haha, I've done something similar... But in a Laser 2 monohull. That's what happens when you're sailing downwind in high winds (and geez it feels really slow) and you have your weight too far forward... Fortunately monohulls aren't TOO bad to right again, cats are near impossible...
  6. Covergirl: How bout you make a deal and buy like 5 of them and get a deal on the lot (like $10K each or something) and then sell the other 4 to us for the same price? :)
  7. Aww come on guys, *somebody* has to vote on something different... :)
  8. Eww. :)
  9. Pics are always cool, car or no car (but the girl had better be good), girl or no girl (but the car had better be good), no girl or car or bloke or anything (but the scenery had better be REALLY good!) :D RX7's are nice. I like the Batmobile one (S7/8?) :) But the 6's are pretty darn cool too.
  10. There ya go
  11. And the winner will get umm... Okay, fine I don't have anything to give, and I don't have any money to buy anything, but you can be happy that you won :)
  12. Oh wow. I don't know if to say "Wow" or "F**K". Hmm. Sounds like a bit of an epic, almost sounds like my epic at Coastal, except worse. Can it be worse? Yes it does sound worse... Hmm. Hope Redwarf is better now. Hope Mel is all good. Hope Rob is still a happy Rob. If help is needed in Redwarf Motorsport let Fook know.
  13. Dammit. Girls get to have all the fun. Flicker an eyelid, leave a button undone, bend over to tie a non-existant shoelace, and bingo 50% off :) What sort of car are you looking at? Still the Supra? I thought you were getting a non-turbo?
  14. Exhaust is fixed, person who built the exhaust tried to blame my engine mounts and/or gearbox mounts for my constantly breaking exhaust, didn't want to even take in the possibility that *maybe* it might be bad design on his part that there's so much stress on it. Anyway, he's just re-welded it back, let's start a poll to see how long it'll last before it breaks again...
  15. Oh yeah that's right. Covergirl, have you gotten your new car yet?
  16. Rob (or Mel): Let me know when you would like some help and if I can I will be there :) Hal is mostly sorted (apart from broken exhaust) so I should be able to help out...
  17. Ah right :) Why only half? :) *me goes to investigate how to become a "potential employer"... j/k  *
  18. But we don't know what you look like so we won't know to talk to you, you should post up pics :) lol This is so silly  On a more serious note, is it this weekend? If so, SORRY I won't be there, I'll be out having even more fun at the Qld Challenge, so BAH :)
  19. That photo of that Ford jumping is cool :)
  20. Ah yay, now I officially "know" 2 people who model. Umm. Yay. I'm still trying to think of why this would be yay-material, but can't think of any, so... *YAY* :) And umm.. what's the point of a modelling website with photos that only models can access? Wouldn't it be more useful if like... potential employers can also access it?
  21. As posted on RedlineAu: Entry list On top of that there is another V8 and a Lancia Beta! I can't wait :)
  22. Doug: Haha, yes I saw that one when you finished in the start garage, that was kinda funny :) And yes, for some reason I think almost everyone didn't really seem to be driving to their best, even Craig Hornibrook (who won surprise surprise) didn't look anywhere near as spectacular as he usually does. I suppose it was a club event so most people were just mucking around. I think Craig's goal for the day was to go through all of those tyres he brought, he sure left a lot of black stuff on the ground  At least you looked like you were having lots of fun :) Especially after fixing that handbrake ;) Pity you didn't stay long after the last test, did you see my last few runs (untimed) on Diamond Slalom? Gawd apart from the khanacross a few weeks back that must be the most fun I've had in a car in awhile =)
  23. To tell you the truth, I have no idea. But it does, and that's all that matters :) Something to do with the design of the master cylinder (it's not the same sort as you would find on the front of your firewall, it has an "input" and "output", instead of a reservoir and an "output"
  24. Might it be fixed? ;) Well, maybe. For the first time ever, I locked up 1 wheel, TWICE! Both times the right wheel :) Still majorly difficult to do, but the handbrake actually feels a lot better now, feels a lot more like Pinky. So, what was different? Umm... Not sure really. The only thing I can think of is that this time apart from filing the shoes down, cleaning the lot and readjusting (they were a bit glazed) I also got the big screwdriver out and reset the handbrake lever inside, pulled it all the way back till it wouldnt' go anymore. Now I've got almost no handbrake cable IN the car, the nut is almost at the end of it  Seems to have done *something*. Still can't lock it up whenever I want or anything, have to really try very hard, but hey it's a shiteload better than it was :) Out of curiosity - do you grease/oil the mechanism at all? Cause well... Brake cleaner is like degreaser and cleans the shoes and stuff, but the mechanism gets rather tight from the lack of grease/oil, but putting grease/oil in there seems a little silly cause it would make the shoes less effective? How do you make sure the grease stays there and doesn't go anywhere?
  25. Been recommended to try using P4872 which is 3/4 ", does that sound about right? That's for the master cylinder to activate the rear brakes? Had a look at Terry's Datsun1200 on the weekend for some ideas on handbrake levers, and I think I'm sorted. I now have to look for a Datsun 120Y or maybe Datsun1200 handbrake lever and fabricate some mounts to mount that in the Corolla. Haha, more datsun bits in my car :) Jamie's gonna kill me  Might actually pick up 2 of them while I'm at it, the Corolla handbrake is too bulky and too hard to move around. I like the Datsun one, it's small and compact, easy to put just about anywhere, and to modify to fit a hydrolic setup :)
