  1. Found Andrew, turns out he's been having trouble with his ISP (he's moved house). He's alive and well, the usual stuff :)
  2. Good formal car? Where on earth would you sit? Want a rotary? There are 3 x Renesis motors in the Trading Post at the moment :)
  3. Oh I'm not sure about the "looks like", but yes I think I probably act like a 12 year old. I just feel like a 40 year old half the time... Ol Grandpa Fook :)
  4. I think the Stripping bit I should have no problems, it'll mostly be the Putting Back Together bit. Aligning bit stuff and making sure timing belt is well tensioned etc. Yay Fun. Spent too much money today. Have no more money. Maybe I won't fix it till next year sometime... Just have to remember to top up radiator coolant every hour or so of driving... *dodge city*
  5. Ask Jamie how low :) I'm almost the quarter century...
  6. Hmm, looks like I may have to replace the head gasket in the Camry sometime soon (well, I hope it is a problem with the head gasket and not something more serious...), I wonder how hard it is to change?
  7. I've got a Siemens S55, it was cool when I got it, now it's just old. All the new phones are so cool, but my contract doesn't run out for another year and a bit yet I think.
  8. Getting you? Hmm... I can get you a pair of very low King springs to suit a KE30 :)
  9. "S" isn't cool enough :)
  10. Look 12? Hey I act 12 :)
  11. Haha, I'm still older :) Oldest? *eep*. Naaaah, I'm sure Mr Dixon is still older :) I'm already going through my midlife crisis though :)
  12. Tried to call too, but mobile is off...
  13. Well... maybe apart from the purple and green... Funky brakes. This is a fellow QLD car, and it weighs all of 780kg. And it has 330bhp, approx. And yes, it has a 13B. With leaf springs all round. More info
  14. Haven't seen him around in awhile...
  15. You'd have to work pretty hard to hide a lot of that rust to sell it for $230... I suppose it all comes down to: would YOU buy it for $230? If yes, then maybe someone else would too. If you won't buy it for $230, chances are no one else will either...
  16. Yeah mine did that too. It's not too hard to replace, a couple of bolts and off it comes.
  17. Hey look it is the Haikal. Heh, you recon you could make your watermark any bigger? :)
  18. My go? I thought someone else has to match either the number or alphabet now (since I matched both...) :)
  19. You'd be lucky if the wreckers would give you $50 for the whole car, much less just the bonnet and boot for $60... Also, don't know how much a 4K is worth these days. Windsceen and rims sound reasonably priced, although one of them is mine so you can't sell it :)
  20. I found the perfect match! Matches both alphabets as well as numbers!!! :)
  21. Getting pretty excited about this now :) Apart from the usual gearbox and handbrake woes the Corolla seems to be going fairly well, and Haikal and I are going to go over some of the other nav notes again tonight and see if we can polish up and hopefully not get lost for the next one - I'm not setting my hopes too high though. The Info night is on the 14th, at 8pm I think. At the BSCC Clubrooms. There's some serious competition in our class this year, with :) (Redwarf), Craig Thomson (Turbo Datto1200), Harry (L18 Datto1200) in it, I don't think I really even need to hope to do too well, but all the same I hope I have a heap of fun (and not get lost!)
  22. Indeed a hero... I do hope he makes a speedy recovery (as speedy as a broken pelvis can go...), was really sad to hear that he had a bad crash. Glad Sue wasn't too badly hurt. Are there any photos of the crash? What happened? The news article didn't have anything, just a photo of Simon grinning as always :)
  23. Umm... No I don't think OKE250 qualifies as a hit for SKU537...
  24. Darn those photos are cool... Do you think Redwarf has enough camber on the front? :)
  25. Hmm... I don't know if I'd call them my "favourite" exhaust joint. His craftsmanship is very good (ie his welds are amazingly neat and all that) but I dunno, his workmanship is sometimes not as good (ie his planning and client relations). I've had several problems with the exhaust, but I think it's all good now.
