  1. Reminder that this Friday is another night run! Come one, come all!
  2. Reminder: 8pm BSCC Clubrooms on Wednesday, Info night for this event. If you'd like to know more about this event and what it's all about, come along. There'll be information about what to expect and you can talk to other people who have done these events before, plus other newbies who haven't. No obligations, if you don't think it's for you then that's fine, you don't have to put an entry in :)
  3. I see... an 83 AE86 Sprinter in the entry list - is this you mumblezz?
  4. Hehe, Hal's also pretty darn hard to start cold due to lack of cold-start circuit. Have to pretty much stand on the right foot for the first 5-10 minutes or it just cuts out and dies...
  5. *sigh* the day when I get good enough that gun-navigators like Mel would be jumping up to navigate for me... Hehe, I've got no idea who's in our team (HSCCQ), but it should be a blast :)
  6. Yes, it is a rather nice ute isn't it?
  7. Huh? Okay, non-comprendo. So what engine are you actually running at the moment? A 4EFTE (MAP sensored)? But you're using it with a 3ETE computer (AFM sensored)? So... you're trying to use an AFM sensored computer to control an engine with a MAP sensor? If so, I'm surprised the car even runs at all...
  8. Spoke to my engineer last night, and I think I'm going to start "accumulating" parts to do the hydrolic handbrake. What bore master cylinder do people usually use? Will be using this with the Bluebird TRX disc brake rear end...
  9. And you recon that would ever happen? I wouldn't be surprised if 50 years from now the whole world is governed by the US of A under some sort of sick "democratic" system where if they didn't like you they could just wipe you out. Or if they thought it would be fun.
  10. We need some very "interesting" people here to help us get posts to go into a "poolroom". Much like "Can you make a wagon handle" and that other thread about contact area, both on PF. Those were hell funny :)
  11. That would be it. I would be guessing it will be showing up most of the cars in the above list.
  12. ... as opposed to the whole mid 80's toyota/mitsubishi/insert-car-manufacture-name cheap plastic era of motor vehicle? :)
  13. A teaser from Marc on RedlineAu: Confirmed entries so far: 2000 Nissan 200SX 1997 Subaru WRX 1973 Datsun 1200 1997 Honda Civic 1984 Toyota Supra 1990 Toyota MR 2 1994 Daihatsu Charade 1980 Datsun Stanza 2002 Honda Integra 1971 Datsun 1600 1981 Fiat Super Brava 1979 Ford RS 2000 Escort 1992 Nissan GTI R Pulsar 1995 Toyota Landcruiser 2001 Commodore HSV 1968 BMW 2002 1976 Datsun 260Z 1975 Toyota Corolla 1971 Datsun 1600 2000 Mazda MX 5 1990 Mazda MX 5 1991 Mazda MX 5 1999 Mazda MX 5 1973 Datsun 1200 1999 Subaru WRX Sti 2002 Subaru WRX Sti 2000 Subaru WRX 2002 Subaru WRX Sti Add to that list Redwarf and Glen's funky purple Torana :)
  14. If you're not careful when you change your pads your pistons will slide all the way out and then you'll lose some brake fluid and let air into the system. Then you have to bleed them.
  15. There's never any harm in bleeding your brakes more often than "required", you just go through more brake fluid. But as a general rule, no air in system means no need to bleed. And usually changing pads doesn't get air in the system.
  16. As long as you don't get air in the system you don't need to bleed the brakes.
  17. You recon? I thought we were talking about older women, and how they rocked? :)
  18. Older women rock :) What was I doing 11 years ago? Shite, I don't even want to remember...
  19. Jamie: Then upgrade your plan then. You'll get a much cooler phone with a higher plan too... When I was on my $33 plan my bills were always closer to about $100 a month, now on a $55 plan ALL my bills have been $55 except for last month, when I crept over to $63. And I don't think I'm using my phone any less, in fact I'm probably using it more...
  20. Oh, no the oil is fine. I'm just loosing coolant, which is rather annoying.
  21. Oh wow Mel, you're 11 years older than Teddy!!! :)
  22. What is this "grey oil" you speak of? And yes, if I decide to do this would probably need a hand. Am going over to a mates place this weekend maybe, he has a coolant system pump (he works in a radiator shop, he built the radiator in Hal) so we're going to presurise the system and see where it's leaking out of...
  23. How you had 110mm ground clearance on those springs I have no idea... I've only got 102mm ground clearance currently... And wow, 5 years till I become as super as Mr Dixon? COOL, I can't wait :) And yes, Mel, you are very old :)
  24. Haha, I've been so intending to do stuff on my car(s), but so CBF...
  25. Hehe, I'm paying $55 a month :)
