  1. Haha, a lot of FWD cars handle better than a lot of RWD cars. IntegraR's go round corners rather well...
  2. My original KE55 drivers seat has been made into an office chair :P
  3. Like Nick said, modifying seat rails requires blue plating. You can get away with getting some 3mm steel and using grade 8.8 high tensile bolts and making an adaptor plate, some engineers recon this doesn't even need blue plating, but it will make your seats even higher. Most stock everyday car seats aren't made low, or with good padding, really. And once you start looking at making adaptor plates etc you can pretty much get any other seat that's sort of the same size. I had Honda Civic seats in my KE55, and they were quite nice :P
  4. I'm not using redtop exhaust manifolds, I'm using RWD exhaust manifolds. Two rather completely designs. Of course, I'm only going by what I've been told, so I could well be wrong. Extractors, exhaust and pod are obvious first starts to mods, but only if that's where the problem is to start. I was told the extractors were fine, so I got the exhaust and pod. And no, I've found about 4 different kinds of aftermarket extractors for RWD 4AGE engines, and I've never found a set that would fit in a KE35. 3 of those sets fit in the actual engine bay, but none would clear the idler arm properly. If you run a jap bellhousing (like Rollie did) then you can heat and bend the extractors to *just* clear the idler arm and fry your starter motor instead, but I'm running an oz bellhousing.
  5. Erm... Wednesday? Or Saturday?
  6. Hardly any seats are a direct bolt in. Hell, even seats from my KE55 won't bolt into my KE35, and both cars look virtually identical...
  7. Hmm, I dunno, more than a few people have mentioned that the RWD factory headers on the 4AGE are actually very good, including Bill Sherwood...
  8. Awwwwww... FWD's aren't THAT bad. They have their time and place. I just can't think of when or where :P Haha, all that said, I have an SV21 wagon, and I recon it's great (when it works!)
  9. The factory headers are said to be able to flow up to about 200'ish hp, so that's not exactly a bottleneck at the moment. I've got the factory primaries and custom secondaries, the factory secondaries wouldn't fit in my car. I know someone who makes winged sumps for 20V 4AGEs.
  10. Ooooh and believe me the effort has been very minimum lately, haven't even bothered to mask anything off before repainting :P
  11. Some sheet aluminium, a jigsaw, some measurements and a bit of time does wonders :P
  12. As long as it's not "disco bowling"...
  13. To help me make my 4AGE faster! :P *haha, fook dreams on*
  14. Actually, Sunday nights is probably bad for me. Is another night possible?
  15. If I'm free I'll come along, and I'm guessing Haikal might too.
  16. Night would be good, unless it's a weekend, but most weekends are motorsport weekends, so nights would be good :P Where shall we go? Somewhere relatively central I suppose, but most all of us have cars or have access to cars so I don't think it matters too much. I think most people here are from northside. Date, whenever... Maybe aim for like 3-4 weeks time, that should be enough time to organise a bowling night, but not so long that everyone says "yes" now and then pulls out the day before...
  17. My front guard still has a slight crease in it, I rather suck at panel beating. If it wasn't for having to prep and paint the spare guard, I'd replace it, but meh. I'll replace it when I bend it more :P
  18. Now I just need some spinner hubcaps... *bling bling* :P
  19. Hmm, that front guard looks better than the one that's ON my car at the moment (after Qld Challenge last year anyway, oops), what's actually wrong with it? Can't tell much from the photo... Beaver panel looks like it's had a few hits? :) I haven't had a good look at mine, but I think I remember it being okay. Not the best, but okay. And hmm, that rear wheel arch looks like some fun :P Maybe you should just get flares and cut all that rust out ;)
  20. haha, one of my front guards is that funny blue color too :P I'm afraid the front beaver panel thing is that ugly mustard color though.
  21. As requested:
  22. No, not for nothing, it's going on the Camry, remember? :P
  23. My stocko exhaust makes a very tinny noise. Probably due to the half a dozen exhaust leaks...
  24. Maybe your wheels are falling off. Or maybe you have little ball bearings in your boot. Or maybe someone's trapped in your boot and is using the heel of their shoe to tap on the boot... Who knows? You'll just have to get someone to sit in the back of the car and try to listen out for where it's coming from :P
  25. But you only put wheel covers on steelies don't you? I didn't think anyone actually put wheel covers (of any sort) on mags, do they even fit?
