so, an eventful week.
mounted mirrors, pulled the engine and box, out and back in twice..
chasing up everything to convert to manual, going a box from a ke70.
but the tailshaft, input side, from my ke10, wouldnt match the ke 70 gearbox output shaft, so i ring Joel, explain the situation.
to which he replies "no problem, mate, bring your tail shaft down, we will sort her out"
so i rock down that night, and after going thru his collection, for ages, we find one that mates to a ke70 manual, has the right length, and the same rear flange...!
after much tyre kicking, and tractor, manly talk, we leave there , new tailshaft in hand.
get hom after midnight.
Joel really went out of his way. thanks heaps mate.
picked up my clutch and scored some '82 ish Mazda 626 chaser rims 13"x5.5".

gonna paint them up over the break, getting 175/50 tyres fitted tuesday, AS-1 Nankang brand, lol
got on to Evan's Trim shop who will do the White walling when the tyres are fitted.
now its just a matter of waiting for Repower to open after easter, so i cna get my dammn clutch lightened, and ill be able to put it all back together.
