Hope you didn't think i was having a go at you or anything. My very first bar i had many a year ago i found at the dump. Same style as can be found at the $2 shop but the ratchet end was welded up and a rod welded onto the handle, F-ing brilliant still floating around mum and dads place, the only reason i stopped using it was cause it never fitted in my tool box

Ford was the same with imperial.. My tool box is pretty well much metric only and mostly the common sizes - 8mm, 10mm, 12 14 etc etc. Till i was up under the dash pulling it out and i came across a 13mm, like, wtf. Breaker bars are good for stubborn bolts and nuts :(

You and me both Yes, well, the magnetic ones are good ones, more so for them getting thieved. But we was tooling our way up to Harvey Bay one time, stopped in at Yarraman for a pee break and driver swap, slapped on the P plates and about 15 minutes or so from Goomeri we watched the front plate lift up and float up and over the roof of the car. So we stopped in at the town to swap over again and the back plate was gone.... Have a feeling its changed cause i got wheeled over a couple of years back late at night when i was working night shift, but what can you expect when an oncoming car high beams you so you high beam them back and straight back down again cause its a copper, they chuck a u-turn and wheel me over for a breast check and a license test, since i couldn't find the license i got asked a whole bunch of questions and one of the ladies, i'm figuring, checked me up on their computer and no mention of popping into a cop shop to show them my license.

Not going to go into it all cause its been done over before. But try spinning two objects and one of them weighs about 2.5 kg less and it doesn't seam make but it sure spins up quicker.

Generally don't let the girlfriend drive like a tool. She does have her moments but mostly she's a little slow (as in after the lights change green and the car in front has already moved off) and maybe a bit timid at times (like gaps between cars at a round about and parked cars) apart from that she's pretty good for a P plater except the use of the lights during poor conditions Till now i have never worked with such a bunch of foot kissing, bum licking, smart-arsed, two-faced, back stabbing co-workers before. From memory 2mz is about the biggest you'd be able to go without forced induction, a re-doing of the intake manifold, custom driveshafts and a button for the traction control. Nope but i've heard it happening to the rear mount on the '07 lancer, thankfully its only a bolt on job. But by the look of it the bracket was welded to the control arm. Maybe grind off the weld and re-weld it or see if one can be picked up from the wreckers or ditch that whole link pin setup and drill a hole though the control arm using the older styled link pin setup (maybe rose jointed for overkill) like the earlier ae's used

Motivation and not really having any. Since i wasn't really able (nor willing with this chicken pox crap) to go down to brissie today i laid out some nice plans for today of working on my hunk of junk of swapping the auto pedals over to the manual pedals, attacking the body for some more rust and giving the garage a tidy up. Instead my youngest came down sick (puking his guts up) so it was off to the doc and then chemist and back home and i spent the day pottering around home looking at the car, moving a few bits of wood and some bricks and not much else. Motivation - spend all week running up and down the work place doing this that and everything inbetween, gets to the weekend and all i do is SFA

Hate that as well. Generally i don't make plans but if i do i like to keep them and if they change i like to let the other party know as soon as i can. Cause my way of thinking about it is that i have only 2 days off work and roughly about 48 hours to be able to do shut that i can't do during the week. But anyways back to it - two faced people. If i don't like someone i don't act as if i'm their best friend, i'll only talk to the person cause i have to. The supervisor got back from his holiday today and one of the guys was spending the time throwing daggers at the supers back the whole time and now that he's back this guy is now acting like his long lost buddy is back. Yeah true very true to be able to do the head swap you'll more or less need the complete 4a-g motor - manifolds, water pump, blah blah blah are all different. About the easiest way to get more torque is to go up in capacity in the length of the stroke, hence 7a-f
