  1. I can understand to a point that times a guy in his car wants to have a bit of fun etc etc. But not when it comes to an area where there's going to be kids. Anyway, heard him coming up to the corner, heard him giving it a bootful engine revving up turbo spooling up and then i saw the s13 come around the corner as he kicked it sideways tires howled for a few seconds after. And i thought to myself thank f@$k there's no kids playing on the quiet street otherwise this dickhead wouldn't have made it the 500m to the end of the street... And i'm pretty sure i saw a parent further up the street throw a rake at the wanker - at least i heard him scream out "f@$kIN WANKER"
  2. Ok no names but one place i like dealing with - i walk into the place ask for what i want, get told which possible car could have said part/s and its location and i'm free to hunt around the place. And if i don't have the tools if i find what i'm after they'll chase it down for me and if i don't feel like waiting i'll get a phone call when its ready for pick-up. One of two places i hated was the place that i walked into asked the boss if they had any front struts from a t-18. Nope. Urm, how about early 80's corona. Nope, sorry son but we don't deal with jap shut boxes. Couldn't help but look at him and the nissan that he was sanding down. Turned around and as i was walking back to the car looking around the yard full of jap shut boxes and not a single holden nor a ford in sight.... And two of two places i hated was another one i rung up asking about parts and i got told "Your wasting my phucking time..." And its always the good ones that'll have you wanting to come back again and again, and its the bad ones that'll either have your money once and/or you'll never go back again.
  3. Yea man, get out and have some fun. :hmm: :jamie: Yeah, but it was more of a friendly jab cause i'd give it back He'd tell me that i was a rice boy cause of driving a jap car I'd give it back, at least i don't use chop sticks while driving cause of all the rice bowl crap on your car. "Did you know that 'corolla' is part of a flower ?" "Yeah, so" "You must be a poof-ta cause you drive a flower..." "At least i don't have to slide into a condom before driving your common whore." And back to WGMG If i had a bullet and a gun my supervisor would have been feet up in a bucket of lime.
  4. WooHoo bed friends :worship: And at the moment my All-in-one printer/scanner. Go to scan something and at the end of the scan it throws up an error code.
  5. Mine of the 4k is just a whole chunk of one piece metal pulley
  6. I didn't think the old k motors had one
  7. Beige-it
  8. Yeah true true. Wait till her mum turns around and looks at you straight in the eyes and "I never liked you from the day i first laid eyes on you" and if thats not a stab in the back i don't know what is....
  9. And then grab the welder out
  10. Head out towards Crows Nest, hook a right at Hampton and head on down to Esk. Use that road when we go to the sunny coast. Not a bad road if your not stuck behind someone doing about 60.
  11. Oh yeah, on sunday, getting the motivation (or rather the chance) to do some work on my '55. Clean up a bit of the garage for some work area and the power goes off. Ring Energex who now has a fully automated service - asks for either the phone number or post code. Hand over phone number, "sorry but we have no listings for that number. Do you want to try a post code?". Hand that over, "sorry but there are no power issues in that area."Like wtf. So i spent from about 11am to about 4pm doing phuck all apart from reading a book and looking into the garage with a torch
  12. :jamie:
  13. Decided to try out Windows 7 and its giving me mixed emotions... Stairs and my knees don't mix My knees and me don't mix for that fact Drove an N12 Pulsar on saturday, wasn't half bad to punt around, almost felt as if i driving my old ae82 And then i had to hand it back
  14. On the down hill its more common for a truck to lose its brakes and go over the side then what it is for some wanker who's racing the traffic to slam into the back of a truck. Where is its more common for a car to be racing up the hill and either slam into the back of a truck or flip its lid on the second up section around either the first or second corner.
  15. When you do it don't expect it to slide straight in you'll have to re-shape the board around the window, seat belt mounts (possibly use longer bolts) and the top of the seat So after you've cut the board, don't go and cover the thing, trial fit it firstly :P You'll find two holes, on the inside sides of the speaker grills its where the plastic plug things are - they'll make ok bolt holes to hold the shelf down as well as the anchor points for the seat belts
  16. There was this site http://www.1uzfe.com/ that featured a build up of a te27 which was getting a 1UZ-FE V8 installed. The car went by the name "The Flea TE27" and its owner installed a rack into it from memory it was from a ke70 cut down or something. But it wasn't just a drop in fit and go, more like measure, measure, measure cut trial fit, measure, measure, measure, cut, trial fit, measure, measure, redo yada yada yada. Many of those trial fittings was for things like bump steer, steering lock, general suspension movement. So yeah it can be done but it'll take a bit of effort especially to satisfy an engineer for a mod plate
  17. If its in good nick use it as a template on some 12mm MDF and do up a custom styled one
  18. Was planning on dropping in for a bit and then shooting out to Pittsworth to watch the sprints but i wound up spending the whole day helping my brother move back to his old house :P
  19. :P yeah your right it doesn't All bright and sunny without a cloud in the sky Pissing down last night tho
  20. Bring some wet weather gear cause its forecast for rain and if you haven't been up the range take it easy with the wet. And the cops do like to hide just after the corners. And hopefully see yea's out at picnic point
  21. Wrong wrong wrong on so many levels. The parent should have been fined as well in my opinion. Its almost in the same league as handing a kid a loaded gun and telling them to go play out in the front yard. A "terrible headache" my arse..... At least her comment of "How can I do anything" would be more closer to the truth with the daughters thumb stuck to the top of her mums bald spot. Just can hear it now - "Mummy i can't pay for my fine.... why should i have to pay it.... i'm not paying it.... it was your fault....you pay it" "Yes dear, thats ok <enter brats name> i'll pay for it"
  22. This is whats grinding the gears for me http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/latest/590933...minute-silence/ Couldn't attend Couldn't even be bothered to have a minute's silence to honor the fallen and bravery of those that have fought and are fighting for us to be able to live in peace and security. At least i never voted for her

  24. Rotors are the same. There's two different brand of calipers, but they both fit. Not really too sure with the camber - maybe -2 at the most ?
  25. No, their narrower so you'll have to also fit the whole strut as well if you want the springs. But if your planning on swapping the struts over may as well step up to either the T-18 or AE86 struts for the bigger brakes. But then again there is the Corona etc etc. Just have a search around on the forum. I believe so but not as much as the '70 cause the '3x and '55 have longer arms.
