  1. You also associate "lemon" with one running around with a dyke Love the superlights
  2. What manual have you got ? The factory one or an aftermarket one like Gregorys ? The one i have is a Max Ellery it has a few pages on the dash cluster for the ae92 it also has a little bit on the '95 but its more of a breeze over on the gearbox and motor. But when it comes to the dash cluster its fairly easy to work out which fitment level car it came from, CS-X had the tacho, CS had a big ol' clock in place of the tacho and the C had a blank panel.
  3. When i was working at a timber mill i almost had a wrist sliced open by metal strapping - that shut cuts sharp, cuts deep and if the strap tensioner is getting worn down on the wheel it can also leave metal splinters behind, nasty shut i hate it
  4. Paper cut ?? wait till you get a cardboard cut - stings like a paper cut but slices like a knife
  5. Good, i'd hate having to tow those two around denting the body and scratching the duco. Mind you i reckon that blonde looking tart needs a bit body filler herself... But yeah that paddle shifter would have to way cool
  6. Your kidding about the S2 aren't you ?! The T-18 i had was a series 2 - didn't mind the look of the front end but i hated the rear end, always wanted to swap the plastic crap over to the chrome bar to smooth the arse a bit
  7. Can also be from a carbon buildup on the pistons, around the valves. The carbon crap heats up and starts pre-igniting the air-fuel and you only really notice it when you start pushing the motor
  8. And then the rear hanger can also be adjusted in height - toe in/out in a corner and if you want to get into the whole thing of cutting/shutting/welding the front pick-up point of the leaves for either higher or lower mounts also changes the suspension characteristics, which also brings about another thing if both the front and rear mounts are moved be the same amount.
  9. Yeah, but have a look at the last pic it shows a pretty good rotor on the other side of the car but then again the caliper is fitted either.....
  10. Have a look under the bonnet of an old Torana, like the XU-1 model Up near the brake cylinder (top right corner) First saw the set up at an "All Holden day" and wondered what it was. First thought it was a custom set up till i saw the same thing on some of the other cars that ran triple CD carbies (Constant Depression - eg SU's) And by the looks of it pretty easy to dodge up
  11. And here i was thinking it was your car....
  12. Crikey its only a 1.6 not a 3.6
  13. +1 on that compression test, a vacuum gauge onto the intake manifold and a tune up
  14. Babies bum cream sure helps "Curash" nappy rash cream in the aisle with nappies :y:
  15. Partly right, Vestibule is Latin for "entrance court" The tent has one, it was "fly" that i was trying to think of I'm hoping for a "Caveat venditor". So yes, let the seller beware cause i'll be half tempted to shove the damn pole fair up their clacker if i'm not happy with their answer
  16. Yeah i know. A bitch to pack away but its a pretty good one Ambers off, hopefully, back to the shop we bought it from tomorrow and see what can be done. Felix, you've given me an idea with some of the "behind the counter" stuff at work :y:
  17. "Oh, you have got to be phuckin kidding me" Set the tent up in the backyard yesterday to air it out and clean it out. Had a look at it today before toddling off to work. Went out to clean it and pull it down, hmm looks like an aerial at the top of the tent. Nooo, one of the poles broke in half and ripped its way though the cover sheet or whatever its called..... Phuckin tent
  18. Wait till its a wednesday and your thinking its a friday and you realise its a thursday...... Don't know haven't seen it Maybe if there's some totally bitchin boobies shots
  19. Bloody hell here we go again Its a wonder the flaming hasn't really taken flight yet and its a wonder this thread is still going.... Blooody hell Get someone to trailer the car up to O'Reillys Guesthouse in the Lamington National Park and roll back down - Its cheap and bloody effective way of learning to fly Oh yeah before i forget - Link for a damn good site
  20. Isn't Gatton under a fire ban at the moment ? And if your not in town - fire permit, they'll need a fire permit to burn off and what their burning off.
  21. The tree top walk Somewhere in the middle of the photo is the top of the tower When that sling shot fired the egg cracked me up. All in all great weekend. Good work JiP :)
  22. Tell me if i'm wrong but i thought the 3s/5s was a non-interference head - the valves don't touch the pistons
  23. Going off subject but on the way to work today a pair was trying to do a bit of street racing, nice looking early model falcon ute was trying his damnedest to race against a late model monaro and at every set of lights the falcon was left for dead. Beyond me why he kept it up for
