Why oh why can i see you getting flamed What do you mean by "has to be placed in the exact place it come out" ? Do you mean by does it have to go back into the same hole or pick and stick it in another hole somewhere ? Many many moons ago when i had a ae82 twinky the head gasket blew on it and cause i didn't have the time nor the patience to do it i sent it off to a RACQ certified mechanic who charged me, oh, about, 300 buckaroos for the head gasket. For that price you'd think it'd be damn well bloody good. Only lasted 14-16 months. Non-interference ? Yes.

Nar 30 bucks for new plates and $80 plus to keep the original plates - their classed as "custom" plates cause of having to be stamped and all that crap.

Had to get new rego plates for the car today - the old ones had been classed as illegal cause of having the numbers/letters retouched with paint. I was wanting to keep the original white on black plates but the girlfriend couldn't/wouldn't justify the extra cost :lolcry:

Can't stand voicemail, too expensive and, as far as i'm considered, pointless - text me a message or just ring me back. Found out today - my supervisor is the "golden child". A few weeks back he almost ran over one of my work mates (driving forwards then out of the blue slammed it into reverse, didn't brake and didn't even bother looking back) and yesterday came close to impaling someone else with one of the forks. Both times reported and i told both the bosses that i don't feel too safe when he's on the forklift, "that's why you have to stand clear of the forklift.", "Oh, don't worry i'm extra careful when he's on it....." and the looks i received was like a lead balloon :lolcry:

Took it for a spin around the block last night to see how the brakes and suspension went and the only problem it has is a slight pull to the left so when i can i'll be doing a DIY wheel alignment on it. But as i was cleaning up my mess in the garage i noticed that the front end looks as if its come down a bit. Still sitting up but not as much.

Yep yep count us in 2 adults and one kid this time round. The eldest won't be with us ;) There might also be three others (2 adults and a 6 month old) with us. Trying at the moment to convince amber in letting me take the turtle for a run as well :lolcry:

Went out to do a bit of shopping and whatnot today. Anyway the other half was doing a bit of girlie shopping in spotlight and i was getting a bit bored and my youngest decided that he needed the toilet, "great" i thought, so i grabbed him and off we went to the loo. While i was helping him to pull his pants up some guy walked in ;) "You right there" :lolcry: "Toilet training. That ok." ;)

Updates, updates, updates Got back from Wagga on tuesday arvo and started cracking into the turtle. The first port of call was the front suspension - T-18 struts Before After Had a bit of fun fitting the calipers up. The hose that runs from the strut to the calipers was a bit short so had to swap over to the T-18 hoses Now, just have to fix the tail dragger look. Next on the list - Nolathane for the front swaybar. Done Next port of call - the stereo. And what an interesting bit fun that was Don't know why these wires had been cut for, but its the ciggie lighter fuse (constant 12v). one wire goes to the interior light and the other one is for the ciggie lighter. I was a little puzzled as to why the red wire was used to go to the lighter when there was already one there for it.... Anywhat fixed that and i now have a working interior light. Then i found this A new use for surgical tape :) whats not in the picture was the styro foam behind the stereo holding it in and up Oh and figured out the problem with the dash lights and the no memory stereo. The blue/black wire is for the radio (accessory 12v) and the green wire is the dash lights. And with a bit of cutting Front carpet from the old '55 thats in better condition then the old stuff. Just had the cut it a little to fit nicely Next to go on the list is - Finish parcel shelf and stereo Re-fit seats Add a leaf to the rear suspension New rear shocks Fit the gauges i've got sitting here - oil pressure, temp, volt and a tacho (one of those massive mother humping monster tacho's with, oh, 4 shift lights) :y: :( the five speed man box rear tow bar and possibly the pair of Hella Rally 4000's sitting in the wardrobe Oh yeah and an oil and filter change. Peace of mind in that i know its been done and when it was done
