  1. Don't mind paying for postage but i'd sooner look local first and then spread myself out and about. JiP's idea sounds pretty good. But then there's also the people that are selling multiply items but different parts - eg: a seat, a window, wheels. Keep it all in the one section, say, the wheels section, which in turn lowers the number of "hits" the seller gets for their seat or window or spread the items around into each section bringing up the number of threads but it increases the number of "hits" the seller gets. How about a separate "state search" function just for the market place
  2. Yeah state is good but also personal contact details (at least an email)
  3. Member Name - towe001 - Rob Area - Toowoomba Daily Drive - '75 ke30 (aka turtle), '07 ch lancer Douggie's rolling tent for the win
  4. I'll agree with you on the up side of increased opportunities. But, something like this http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...851#entry407055 gets a little annoying at times (and no i'm not singling out this post just using it for an example and that is all) but can something be done to, say, "enforce" adding contact details (land line, mobile, email....) so that an interested party doesn't have to post on the thread or try their luck with a PM. And the seller disappears never to be heard of again but their sale thread gets bumped back to the top every so often with the words "Is it still up for sale ?" Subdividing ? In what way ? State by state ? I'd be interested in that. The number of times i've come across the heading of a thread stating the stuff i'd be interested in only to find out its way down in Victoria. :shakes the fist: damn you mexicans, always have the good stuff :)
  5. Shotgun a Beer
  6. Learn something new every day i never knew about the shifters being different.
  7. I did this is a ke70 k50 rear housing

  9. Out of a TA22 would be my edgomocated guess.
  10. I'll take the Reno R5
  11. Camira ?? They run the same PCD From what i know most late model jap fwd's run a 114.3mm PCD now. Just have to be careful with wheel spacing and the centre hole. Oh and Ben that Rollaclub linkie no workies :) but if its the one i'm thinking of its a for sale thread for the Tiida rims.
  12. I thought the gemi had the same stud pattern as a fwd ? I'm pretty sure the gemi that my bother has before he took it off the road was running ae92 corolla rims
  13. Used to work with a Canadian that had plenty of stories of Ameri-can't's and their wacky ways... Damaging yeah in a way but look at Ford and its Exploder (aka Explorer) and Hummer and its..... Hummer (just scraps though with its crash rating of 2 stars or something) - people still buy them...
  14. CG/CH Lancer (around the '06/'07 year). But a cautionary note is that wheel spacers will be needed
  15. Ke55 used them as well. Just would have to check cause i think they also used Sumito (or some spelling) on the earlier models. But on that note also ke3x. The brake rotors are the same as well. So are the wheel bearings....
  16. So true that its changed over the years. I still remember back in primary school, morning parade we had to sing as the flag was raised. And some time though grade 6 the anthem was changed to Advance Australia FairAnd then at high school we had morning parade each day for notices and class role calls. And then that was canned for a once a week thing. I don't think its even done now a days. We are also becoming more "multi-cultural" as well Every now again i see a flag pole planted in some ones front yard with the Australian flag swinging from it. Toowoomba has a flag pole with the national flag on it at one of the main public parks (Picnic Point) and it can be seen from just about every point in Toowoomba. Makes me proud when i see it. Even knowing that you may not be a true blue aussie (heck i'm not a real fan of sports apart from motorsport and i can't stand the great aussie heat), you might be an import, you might even be an export, you may not even get the chance to step out of Australian waters. There's a reason of why this lump of dirt above the water is different to the other lumps of dirt above the water... Cause of who we are ? Cause of what we are ? Verse Three of Advance Australia Fair Beneath our radiant southern Cross, We'll toil with hearts and hands; To make this Commonwealth of ours Renowned of all the lands; For those who've come across the seas We've boundless plains to share; With courage let us all combine To advance Australia fair. In joyful strains then let us sing "Advance Australia fair!"
  17. I'm Austalian and bloody proud of it
  18. I came oh so close to buying one of this things a few years back. Got talking to the dealer about it, went off to grab a mate so we could do a test drive - four ears, an extra set of hands to fiddle with things and two heads works better, it takes the heart out off it and makes the mind work. Walked back into the dealership and hoped into an ae82 seca twincam for a test drive instead - was more practical for me. Just watch the targa top, they can leak. But for gods sake don't rice it
  19. If the tierods and ball joints are brand new you'd be looking at the rough end of approx $30 each, i picked up a pair of Corona steering arms for something around 30-40 bucks (pair). So, yeah, sounds like an alright deal. But if their secondhand i'd be more inclined for the arms only and pop into an auto shop for brand new joints.
  20. JiP and one of his sister's has photos
  21. Once again top work JiP  Think the last minute having to change plans to the Deer Park worked out really good. Got a little burnt but at least i'm not glowing like a beacon :y: Happy birthday mate
