  1. At the moment trying to load printer drivers (hp c309a - do it all with Huge Problems) onto the computer and i'm getting told a file is missing from the installation disc, like, wtf. So i made sure vista is all updated (almost 700meg or so, me thinks) and i'm still getting it. So i'm off to HP and download the updated installation file (243meg). But it was working all nice and fine on win7RC :D
  2. You should be lucky it wasn't Michael's just up the road. I had two 8" sub's (for an enclosure) on layby there a few years back and the bastards sold one of them and tried to give me a free-air type (the type you can sit on the parcel shelf) telling me there's no difference between them, even when i remarked about the different specs between them. I wasn't all that liked when i held the hand for me money.

  4. One of the things that gets under my skin is that we have a dish machine and at the moment the only dirty stuff in it is mostly what i've been putting in it, where as the kitchen bench is loaded up with dirty plates, cookware, cups, utensils etc etc.
  5. Nope not worth it at all. An old friend of my other half, her hubby is (or was) a train driver slammed into a school bus about two years back. Poor guy had to be put on to suicide watch for a good while
  6. It was the same when i use to work in a restaurant - friday night was a rehearsal for saturday which was a "all hands on deck cause the shut was going to hit the fan" Edit - but on that note there was the rare time where we were sitting around cause of it being slow
  7. On the bonnet On the bonnet Do it on the bonnet easier to replace
  8. You Spaz !
  9. She failed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Q_RXCgtKIg...player_embedded watch it till the end
  10. Oh i've thought of that on so many levels its not funny. Did it a couple of times and all she does is jump onto the main computer and screws everything up or she'll run over to a friends place and jump on their confuter.
  11. That was the first thing that went though my mind as well But then i found this http://modifiedcarforums.com/forums/genera...e355-qld-3.html so yeah could be for real. But as they say - look in person and not just over the net otherwise you could be making a tax-free donation.
  12. Having the feeling that i'm the only one who does housework around here. I'm about the only one that'll pick up the rubbish and crap off the floor, most days i'm the one who loads/unload the dish machine, why can't this be done in one simple step (finish with whatever and straight into machine) is beyond me, i've given up on the washing machine - only do my stuff but i'm still unloading the machine from stuff thats been done from days ago and pulling cloths off the cloths line thats been there for the week or in some cases a few weeks. If i don't feed the cat it starves it'll i do. I'm the bread winner as well as the phuckin houseman most days
  13. Thats about how its done on the fwd corollas with irs I've heard of the rca's but negative rca's ? From what i'm figuring is that they push the bottom of the strut off centre from where it'd normally sit on the steering arm, correct ? If thats the case i can understand why cause it'd upset the steering axis Whiteline at one stage had a pretty good write-up on caster. But here's another one http://www.eioba.com/a5370/suspension_alig...djusting_caster
  14. On the ke30 that i have the bush is around 58mm long, about 29mm outside diameter with an M12 bolt. Can't really do much else then that apart from pushing the bushing out
  15. Hmm, interested in doing that myself but the downsides to it are legalities (is it or isn't ok) and once its done its. Just thinking about it and the later model corollas use a cam bolt on the rear end Basically its a washer with an off centre bolt running through it with a "fence" on either side of the washer to force it to rotate in a circle pushing the control out or pulling it in. Possibility ?
  16. Problem is the average dim with thinks and believes "she'll be right and things like that wont happen to me..." There is no way possible of being able to expect the unexpectable cause of bloody Murphy and his damn laws. But people still think, it can't/wont happen to me.
  17. Just something to think about if going auto - sports mode. Once you get the taste of being about to flick that lever over to the side and slush the gears yourself you'll never want to downgrade back to a plain old self shifter again Something else to think about with the magna - traction control (but it's not a feature on the base model ES). Oh, and the AWD versions
  18. Low carb emissions, but you might want to watch out for those other egg gas emissions  http://www.aussiemagna.com/ http://www.mitsubishiclubaustralia.com/forums/index.php Have a hunt around they might help a bit better About the only problem we have with our '07 2.4lt lancer is that it loves the fuel, we're getting about 350kay to a tank. Should be around the 450 mark. But a lancer forum that i'm also with, some on there are getting well over 500-600 to a tank, mind you they've also moded the intake and exhaust (airbox swap, aftermarket headers and bigger exhaust) and not much else. Oh yeah and the speedo seams a common problem - reads higher then what the car is doing. But you don't really notice till you know about it.
  19. Hmm sounds like a marvellous idea.
  20. :D Gives me time to figure something out so i don't go cold turkey and get the druggie shakes
