I'm pretty sure it was HKS that did a twin charge for the 4ag. Nissan's March used a twin charge setup From the Group B rally cars - Lancia Delta S4 is one Have a google for more. Lot of effort to get it setup and working right And for Ben there was a twin turbo 4 cylinder (if you could call it that) used in group b, it was either Lancia or Audi, i'm pretty sure it was Lancia, that made a twin cam four banger but each cam used both intake and exhaust lobes just like a single cam so that a turbo could be ran on each side of the block. But yeah, very little gain if any for lots and lots of effort and money. If its an inline 4, might be a different story if it was a v4

Have a search on the auto discussion page, there'll be something there about the diff widths etc. My opinion of the 9" that its also over-rated

The stuff we have at work is used by the body shops around town and a few in brisbane re-sell it as well 3M Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape AT-0105-5821-4 (old part number was 4220) and make sure you get the adhesion promoter #94 with it as well. Other one thats pretty good is Husky A608012G Body Mould Tape. Its a bit cheaper. But as Trev said - it should come with the adhesive backing. I'd stay away from the Sikaflex, unless you want the strips glued to the panels never to come off, then try your luck with Sikaflex 252...

Don't have to swap extension housing if the ke3x/5x is an auto (they have the hole back a bit in the right spot for the ke70 box). BUT, only the early ke30 has the 2 mounting points for the transmissions. Late '30 and '55 has only the mounting points for the original transmission used in the car. Or you can just cut the hole as needed. Urm, yes and no. Yes they do bolt in but no they will not bolt onto the ke70 steering arms along with the top hat bolting onto the body of the car. You'll need the steering arms from the donor car and use the top hat from the ke70. Its the same for the ke3x/5x. And if you've only picked up the struts from, say, the t-18 and forgot the steering arms you can use t-18, ae86, corona to name a few. They also share the same shock absorber And yes :wink: i agree with parrot - No hearsay stuff, fact. And if something interchangeable had to be modded to fit, please add what had to be done saves confusion etc I say pin it and let the interchanging begin..... Edit - woops :(

Pretty well much he said it himself hok - House Of Color and the candies and pearls. The pearl is one thing cause its basically the paint itself the makes the pearl, whereas the candy needs a primer coat (like normal), a base coat (from memory its a gold colour), a translucent colour and then a top clear coat (some paints can get away without). And from memory the base and colour layers of the candies has to be done in one go each and the base is treated very much the same as a colour coat. That is, laid down and then cut back with really fine sandpaper. If you phuck up on this layer it'll show through to the colour coat and the clear coat

Ok my question to this is - whats the go with this ? And this To me it looks in the first pic is of that bracket thing jamming up on the wall. Have you tried closing the lid from each top corner (where the badges are) ? One side, i reckon, would be a lot easier to push down then the other side. Bit of fault tracing. Other then that - mark where the bolts are and take the lid off, pull the parcel shelf out and push down on each hinge or jump into the boot and pull down on each hinge.

Don't quote me with it or anything cause i can't find the link that i had bookmarked (it was for one of the mitsi forums i'm with) it was saying most of the bellhousings uses the same pattern for bolting up to the block. Might have to try it yourself. I'll be phucked if i can find the write-up about it

Finely had the chance to fit up the rear bushes over the long weekend. And also swapped over the leaves from the '55 that i once had. The spring set at the back (away from the tools) is from the '55. I added the bottom leaf from the '30 to the '55 spring sets as well as using the front bushes, the ones from the '55 were rooted compared to the '30's which still looked fairly new. The car now has a slight rake to the front instead of that stupid tail dragger look. Also stiffened the back end up a bit as well In the process of removing the stripes from the car - being a bit of a bitch cause it looks as if some parts have been glued down. Also added a left hand mirror. Slowly making headway on the planned manual 'box swap - picked up some bolts for the flywheel, just need to get it machined and lightened (?). But also at the same time i'm loving the auto how it snaps into second with i gear up. Have the gear down worked out with a blip of the throttle and theres no jerk in the drop down. Need to get a bit of camber into the front end get some new tires for the back end and a power upgrade

Looks pretty good. Not really all that fussed on the shape of the grill, maybe if that point or angle or kink is taken out of it i think it'll look better. Wouldn't mind find out how he did it.

About there (the door's from a '55 but it'd be the same) The back doors were a lot harder to fit up. Solenoid was at the top of the door, about midway between the door release and the rear part of the door and i had the cut up some of door near the release for the solenoids rod to go through. Never bothered with photos cause i always and still do reckon it was a hack job.

Have been thinking of 14" corona rims on my turtle. But yes please to photos of the cressida rims
