So much fun working with a bunch of fore-skins When things get hard they disappear.....
-
The camp ground is before the dam. There's a few houses up there as well. When you hit the area, the first right takes you down to the sites, at the t-intersection if you hook it right again and follow the road along it turns to dirt after the little bridge, over a single lane cattle grid and hook it right at the triangle shaped intersection (left will take you god knows where) and follow it along and you'll..... Yeah take a run up there - there's a few different ways to get to Imbil. I thought it might have been a bit far for some but it is pretty good. Real toilets as well

Was out there about two weekends back. Was going to take some photos of the place but the bloody camera didn't like the damn batteries. At the time we was out there half of the camping area was closed off due to ground birds nesting or something but apart from that the area was pretty green etc etc. Couple of good spots to go for a swim if you don't mind the nip of the water (its cold). Thought at the time it could have been a bit of a drive for some, but if Baroons out then Borumba could be a go Edit - why i put a "H" in Borumba is the question

Well the plan for tonight was swapping the ke55 cloth front seats over to the ke30 Couldn't be arsed in taking the cover off the drivers seat but its only got a small tear as well Till i found this with the seat belts. Bloody things are bolted to the seat frames :y: Yeah i've been thinking of that but with manualising the trimatic instead of the two speed auto

Urm, yes odd

Man, you've got me a little worried in a way. Just had a look under the car and it looks like it has bolt holes a few inches after the auto x-member. I guess i'll have to wait and see how it all goes after i get back from Wagga. Thanks for the heads up Ryan :y:
-
Your kidding right ?? I thought it was only the '55 that had take problem ?
-
'75 KE30 The day i bought it Our first day at work Lets see so far the specs on it are Extractors 2" exhaust rear louvres and two speed auto (slow and slower) Plans for it after we come back from Wagga are swapping out the auto for either the trimatic from a '55 or a 5 speed manual. Its a tough choice cause i'm loving the lazy man's car. Upgrading the front end with T-18 struts and either twin the sway bar or a thicker one Stiffen the arse end. Either re-build the 4k i have sitting in the garage or swap in the 2t-g (just need a 'box for it) Or some where down the track swap in a 1.3lt from a different pedigree of manufacture. Need more photos of this wild child turtle :y:

Yep yep keen. And hopefully i'll be bringing my little turtle :y:

A good little add on for firefox is "Xmarks". Basically it uploads your favourites (or bookmarks) including, if you want, your passwords. You running firefox 3.5 ? I was at one stage and the thing was always doing the same thing.... So i back dated to 3.0.15 and haven't had any problems to date

What Would You Do Make This Car Look Sexy? ('85 Corolla)
towe001 replied to levvyy's topic in Automotive Discussion
Stuff that either 2vz, 3vz, 1mz or the 2mz But all honesty if its your first car, i wouldn't be really going all that far in mods. Just keep it all basic and simple -

Bekkkah what type of web browser are you using ? You might have better luck with Firefox - it has a built-in spell checker, don't know what i'd be without it, amongst a few, or rather a crap load of, other goodies. In a way i'm with what SLO-030 said - have separate accounts, can get annoying at times but But as with the mods its mostly all in the breathing - the better the motor breaths in and out the better the power but with that said you can only really go so far in one area before you have to start working on the sections after it or around it. Like you can add twin carbies, say, webers to the motor but it'd just be a waste without also running a better cam and also a more open exhaust. A good place to start would be the exhaust - extractors and, say, a 2in exhaust. Oh yeah and its good to hear that "Penny" went to a good home :hmm:

How To Tell Diff Between Bigport And Small
towe001 replied to roladude's topic in AExx Corolla Discussion
One that fits the motor :hmm: Urm, yeah the small port is better (some might disagree) but its not so better if the motor in question is the big port which would mean having to pull the motor down to swap con-rods and pistons.... But, yeah, as Hiro said have a look at the side of the block and see how many ribs it has - 3 its a big port 40mm big ends or 7 its a small port 42mm big ends. But if the cranks out of the block use a Vernier Caliper or two engineers squares (or something like it) with measurements on one to do the same thing. If the motor in question is a big port you could get away with the crank from a 4a-c 4a-f but you'll won't be able to use the 4a-g flywheel. -
You know you've now got me thinking of my old seca when i used a length of metal tube for the electric oil pressure sensor from the block to the car body. With all the flexing etc etc the tube broke between the block and exhaust manifold. Dry chem into the engine bay all over the manifold, block and head it was about a month or so before i had a chance to do anything with the car.

JiPs on the money. But at the time there was heaps of parks. I guess this one just couldn't justify the extra few metres to the entrance

What Engine Is In My Rolla?
towe001 replied to My Other Rolla Is A Supra :P's topic in AExx Corolla Discussion
That photo is interesting in a way cause to me it screams out conversion but the id plate says its 4a-g Is that your engine bay ? or one you found on the net for a similar motor ? -
Throw it off a cliff
