Sun Surf Queensland in the summertime

You'll find it here somewhere http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_A_engine and somewhere in amongst http://www.club4ag.com/ But really to find out for yourself is to pull the head off i guess. How hard is it to turn the crank over by hand ? With and without the cam belt in place ? I still reckon its electrical for like the coil or something. Does it get spark ? Did you hook up the over-run solenoid ? I don't really think it'd be it but you never know.

Non You sure you've connected the electrical's correctly ?

Ke30 Vs Ke55 Chassis Differences?????????
towe001 replied to guitar mad's topic in General Mechanical
Yes Yes Yes The only real difference between them is the gearbox mounts - the ke30 has both - auto and manual mounts. The ke55 has only the mounts for what gearbox was used in the car - such as yours will have the mounts for the manual box, if it came with the auto it'd only have the mounts for the auto. There is other odds and sods but with a bit of a search on the forum you'll find them. -
After a little search http://www.ae92gts.com/ae92gts_trans.html and i'm sure there's more out there

One thing you'll be losing out on is fuel vaporization but depending on the climate you live in would depend on if its a good thing or an iffy thing

Felix, i do enjoy the job while the super isn't around and yeah i have been thinking of quitting but the thing is i don't really like the idea of leaving myself and the family high and dry with hardly any money while i'm finding another job. I've tried doing the thing of looking around while working but i'm just too loyal to the workplace i'm at even if i do hate the job

Yeah, about the same area between the shoulders down to just under the ribs. I don't understand how it happened either but i have been having a lot of trouble with my back, been seeing the chiro about it for a while to get it all fixed. But i don't know, maybe my back is telling me that it's about time i got out of this line of work. It really hit home you could say with not being able to do simple things that are just taken for granted, like, putting socks and shoes on etc etc, knelling down to give my boy a cuddle and being able to pick him up.

3-4 gig of ram, really :y: our desktop has only 1gig and its fine. About the only time it wants to spit the dummy is right after bootup if i try to load firefox. For some reason the early version of vista could only see up to 3 gig of ram. My little brother found that one out when he went all out and bought 8 gig of ram. Microsoft didn't really bother fixing the glitch till service pack 2 for vista to see past the 3 gig limit. There's something like about 4-6 different versions of vista. The home edition has two different versions - a basic version and the home media centre version. Not sure about the business versions. The same can be said for the xp to vista upgrade but the only difference this and the full version of vista is that the xp upgrade is a pile of poo. When we setup the network between the vista desktop and the vista laptop it was pretty well much like a usb "plug and play" style. Name each confuser and it was a go. Started getting the idea of setting up a media centre in the lounge room on the old xp clunker desktop. So i pulled it out of hibernation re-formatted the hard drive, put xp back onto it, set up the media crap, set up the wifi card and vista was wanting to connect to it. But anyways whats grinding the gears at the moment is that Monday at work i threw my back out sliding a few boxes around. Went to the chiro that day who did some work to it and told me some things to do and not to do. Still in pain Wednesday so made an appointment to see him again that arvo and saw the doc as well who gave me pain killers, anti-inflammatory pills and the rest of the week off. And if i'm still having pain next week a CRT scan might be an idea. And all i did was shift a bloody box with a good postural position (arms close to my body, back straight, etc etc) Its been that bad that i couldn't even put my own bloody socks on. Toilet duties - painful experience and no bloody way was i wanting help in that area no matter how painful the experience. Todays still a little painful but a lot better, like, if i'm careful i can pick my son up :y:

Never have been a fan of STEAM. Mind you i've never had any experience with it (or at least i don't think i have) only from what i've read and the experience my younger brother has had with it. And TomTom you young hothead, yes i'll agree with you in that its still possible to do one's self in a stocko rolla, but it just takes a lot more practice at it. Unless you add another hothead with an easy to tart-up turbo into the mix.....

Nar, Holden did bring the Sandman (aka panel van) back for a while on the ute. But all it was was just a canopy on the ute bed for something like 2 grand extra, give or take a few hundred.

I agree to disagree - more copper and speed camera's yes i agree but as long as the cops aren't hiding in the bushes etc same with the camera's and the camera's aren't used at night. Its a very enlightening experience to be driving along at the limit to get a blinding flash of light with a corner coming up......but you can't see it cause of being blinded for a few seconds. My thoughts on why they should be out in the open is that they are showing their presence be known and if their hiding you would just plainly call it revenue raising....

From memory the whole front strut is different between the single cam and twin cam '82. At least the top hat thing is anyways, single cam top hat is a three stud job while the twincam is four studs. Don't remember if the twincam one is a bolt in fit or if the holes have to be drilled. Having a look in my Monroe shock absorber catalogue the struts are the same for both the ae82 twincam and ae92. AE82 sohc and dohc rear's are the same, AE92 rear's are different. And having a look on www.kingsprings.com.au the front springs between the '82 sohc and dohc are different but their the same on the back. AE92 rear's are different

I can see this thread going all weird and such From the down right dumb of wacking in an almighty 454ci v8 to the left of field motorbike engine. But really, what do you want from the car ? Something streetable (easy rego)-->-->-->-->--race car (no rego possible) How long have you had your license for ? What fundings do you have or can get hold of ? For me, cause i have a '55 as well that i'm slowly re-building is either 1>keep the 4k motor 2>2t-g the thing or 3>suzuki power. I like the idea of the 2t-g power for what it is. But at the same time i'm leaning to the idea of suzuki cause of its left of field and that from what i can understand its a better motor then what the 4a-g is. But in your boots and if your just starting out, i'd either keep the 4k or maybe up it to a 5k and fix up the breathing of it.

Nar, i'd take it off their hands and pork it out a bit with a v8 diesel
