Like Redwarf said it does make a difference just got mine done and I must say it does get to 7grand a hell of a lot faster. But it does take a little away from the staying power up hills???? I just had the stock 4k one done, good shops now how much to take off them.

Redrill crossmember or slot the holes and weld up the old holes grind them off (thats what I did) 2 degrees on mine!!! Its a khana pig ??

No cam shaft is rooted and the head to I think got some groves in the housing for the cam and broke a cap on top of the siezed section of cam as well So I need head for sure and a cam.............Anyone ?????

Ok picked up the 71 4a today cam shaft is not moving seized up, bottom half still turns over pulled the cam out today has anyone got a 4a head and cam they don't want???? just want to see if it goes any good..... What sort of power with a good cam would it make????? Or should I just wreck it and build up a monster 4K Thanks all for your help Stuart

To clear it up I have a 71 with a 4k and 4 speed (4K-C was in it ) :D I have just purchased a 71 with 5 speed (blown engine 4A) Spares :) was looking to swap gearboxes so it don't rev it's date out an longer runs.

Just wanting some info and yes I have searched and searched but found nothing OK I might be able to get complete KE71 with 4A and 5 speed question is :P Will the 5 speed bolt up to a 4k in a KE71. Thanks in advance Stuart

Khanacross on the weekend run into a tyre bundle head on did get a little dirty. All clean now just need a new indicator anyone!!!!

What ratio diff is it? You don't need spare engines or gear boxes you don't have a licence :D :lmao:
