Did you find out the cause of the fire in the end? anything we should all be weary of when doing custom builds?

I have a 4age with EFI installed into my ke20 but am trying to find a suitable brake master cylinder with a larger bore, same bolt pattern and will allow the original metal brake lines to be mounted to it. I have Magna TN brakes and rotors This is the original ke20 master cylinder which fits fine it is just hitting the intake manifold. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciate. Thanks Paul

Thats a shame. So can you get caltracs or assasin bars for ke20s or something that will fit? I imagine you need to get something custom made :/

Hi all I am just wanting to know how bad the axle tramping is in a corolla that has had a engine conversion of some sort particularly a 4age but anything sr20, ca18, 12a, 13b etc. and what have you done to fix it. Cheers

Hey all I'm wondering if a ke20 tailshaft that fits a jap diff would also fit a ke55 jap diff. Do they have the same connection types where the tailshaft meets the diff? Cheers

How much did the 4age conversion set you back? Do you have to modify the driveshaft in a ke30?

Cool man and so ke30 and 55 diffs are the same then too I assume.

Also can you still run ke20 shocks in the rear if you reset the springs and put in a ke30 or 55 diff?

10 grand to do a 4age swap is that right, it sounds pretty dear? What do they normally set people back?

Cheers for the info GJM85, I've seen your build thread it, mad build man! ;) The ke30-55 diff sounds decent. With the leaf springs being reset is that without flipping them? Do the ke30 rotors and brakes fit straight onto a ke20 strut and is that including the 114.3 hubs? But basically the options are keep ke20 struts and add lowered springs or switch to coilovers etc. Mmm i don't mind the idea of coilovers but that looks expensive with the brake setup too. How are you going to run the ke55 hubs?

I understand that I need to change the front hubs but can I do the whole suspension at the same time. And with the rear axles which ones will fit in a ke20 diff, or can I bolt on a ke30,55 or 70 diff.

Hi all Been reading up on options to upgrade my suspension. I am wanting to know what the best options are for upgrading my suspension for smoother and lower ride in a 74 Ke20. I am also wanting to change out my hubs to 114.3 stud pattern, so this could influence my suspension options. Do complete ke70 front struts fit in ke20s? How do I change my rear hub pattern? I hear the ke55 diff is a big job? Can you just put ke70 axles in a ke20 diff? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
