Stick with the 20v gearbox, E series gearbox ratios are to long. I don't think the 20v have the torque to make use of long gear ratio's but i could be wrong. Stick with the C160 woth the 20v.

clearly there is an extra black thing under the dash.

Door cards steering column heater box thingy under the dash is slightly different.

I'm just throwing idea's out there so bear with me.... The ecu sending the wrong signals? Injectors cloged or fuxord? Wrong resistance on the injectors? Try running optimax not Toothless joes 80-RON powah mix?

Maybe you distributor or cas has shit itself? Check that all the vaccum lines are in the right spots?

He is getting a rebuilt 2.6 with a torque cam for cheap. His boss rallies sigma's so he knows what he's on about. :) EDIT: Plus kingsprings heavy duty springs to aid those Ripley road runs.

If ya want to know if your E series box is lsd. # AW11 - use an E51, with the linkages facing forwards # AE92/92 - use an E58 and E52. Quite rare to get an LSD though, if you do, it will 90% likely be a MAP sensor version. # AE101 - use E58, and LSDs are far more common. # E58-474 -> open centre # E58-11C -> LSD # E58-XX* -> where XX are two numbers, if * is odd, you have LSD. # E58 LSD and NON-LSD CV shafts are non-interchangeable. # E51 LSD and NON-LSD CV shafts ARE interchangable. ^^^^ Copied from toymods^^^^ If you put an E series on a N/A engine you will have veru good fuel economy but it will take you 30 seconds to hit 100kph. as MYSTIK said.

The amount of air going into the pipe wouldnt give enough pressure to make much difference. ;) But the more idea's people have the better, You might stumble across something really usefull.
