  1. Now thats cool! Only downside to a drawthrough is no ic :/ Love the time and effort you put into the stuff you do! Still running the same compression as you did when it was n/a? And how did you do the ignition timing, looks like the good old dizzy is back atleast.. can't wait for a sound video! Keep it up!
  2. No rota rims here :P Finally time to open the rear axle Pulled a axle... And its a kouki diff! My car is a zenki so its a bit of a suprise Pulled the diff out... Aaaaand its a TRD one!! Score! Did some more rust welding Sanblasted all the rust in the front, sanded it all down and primed it :D
  3. Haha wont use this as a rally car i promise, i have another car for that kinda stuff... Won't skid this, apart for a coupple of donuts to make sure everything is working... Had to push the poor ke20 outside to make space for the 86 on the lift, 2tg ke30 in the background and my daily rwd tercel haha Saddest winter in my lifetime, had a coupple of weeks with warm weather so all the snow melted :(
  4. Hopefully its painted by the summer, then there is the pricy bit... Buying all the parts i need... Started fixing up the front end :) Got my sandblasing cabinet up and working, 10-15 mins to blast this, a day and ill have all the suspension blasted Fixing up some bad rust welding by p.o. Welded a bit inside the car aswell almost finished with the drivers side, left hand side... This shit takes time but i wont regret it whwn I'm done, i belive i would regret not doing all of this :)
  5. Finally got the car on a lift so i can start rust welding Underside is gettin clean, still some work left tho Inspiration pic
  6. got some unwanted camber.... only need to wire the alternator and neat up the wiring and toss in a radiator :D sits nice in the bay :D new sticker need to clean the inside of the car haha finally got to clean my part of the shop, left the other 4 4ages out of the pic haha turbo 5M is going into my RS50 Crown :D
  7. hopefully using the car this winter for ice lake driving/drifting where i could use the extra degrees :) and i'll try go to a little sideways on track nrext year, atleast i hope, its not for gravel anymore since its too low for the standard gravel roads here :( i know about the inner steering arm lining up with the balljoint and locking, i'm hoing i can avoid if if not ill try to play with the caster to remove it or just back off a few degrees, orrr just get a rack from a KE70 or something instead :) i can't just sit here and be afraid of problems that might occur, ill just have to try and see if they actually do :) i,v got a set of stock LCA's if i'v made it undrivable :) video of the first start, need to time the igintion..
  8. Itb manifold bolted on Woohoo Modified the tps sensor, swapped in my 266 dur 9.5 lift cams and just set the dizzy to where i belived it should be.. fired up! Need to get hold of a alloy rad for it, then i can push it out od the shed and adjust the ignition and find out the ideal vac setup, i don't have a brake booster so ill have a good vac for the MAP and FPR :) So I'm trying to run it on itbs with stock ecu.. I neee more steering lock Iv got t3 steering arms with really short distance between strut and tie rod so i have quick steering... But the outer tie rod touches the lca so i need to do something, the tire also tuches the framrail så i have to extand the lcas Ill add 30mm Had some good stuff laying arround Notch for the tie rod Ended up working really good, could use a bit more of extending but then i wouød have my wheels ouside of the fenders, so I'm thinking lower profile tires to clear the framerail and get a few more degrees 🤔
  9. Finally got my good camera workign again! soo il just drop some pics :) gave the enignebay and engine a makeover :)
  10. opps i pulled the motor, I'm going to swap inn my new cams (266 9.5lift) and measured clearensees, all within specs apart form the rearest exhaust valve, thats 0.35mm and it should be 0.25mm +- 0.05mm, should i bother getting a new shim or is 0.05 so small i wont notice it? :) pulled the intake aswell and i have a ITB intake on its way, getting excited, hoping for a bit more hp, maybe 150-160 since its a smallport so it has good compression :)
  11. Haha, the gearbox was worn out when i got it, i think the main bearing is gone, sounds like a stright cut racing box tho :D finally got to edit it, same 2 clips in the start but 2 extra ones, and the short gravel clip where i cracked my oilpan, i need to raise the car back up again, 5cm from the oilpan to the ground is not enough when driving on gravel... new project, less expencive and frustrating haha only half finished :)
  12. Car is back up and running but it needs a new gearbox, had some more fotage but no computer yet so its kinda hard to edit haha did some gravel testing aswell, ended in a cracked oil pan... and i need a new gearbox :)
  13. In the winter its heated to 5-10 degrees dependig on how much wood i want to burn 😂 Put the door, hood and hatch on the car just to look at it haha Aaaand bought a sandblasing cabinet so i finally can get started! And i bought a jdm front fender similar to this, zenki, going to send my levin front next week :D and hopefully recive my complete treuno front end in a month or two :)
  14. Haha bought it for 500$ from a old lady living on a small island, didnt run so i cleaned the carb and changed the fuel filter and points, Good as new.. slapped some alleycats on it and welded up a lightbar, planning on a roofrack with extralights and some beefier tires to make it a bit more safari 😂 Has a 3a so I'm hoping to rebuild my 32/36 and put on it aswell :) Lovly 4x4 with lockers aswell!
  15. Started scarping the underside What a shitty job Progress Bought a blacktop for it Got tomei poncams with the balcktop, also have headers and stainless v band exahaust.. annd bought a set of 4x brand new watanabe rs reps 15x9 et-13 Perfect And bought a new daily
  16. my pc crashed and my phone snapped in half and forgot my password haha, No the old cars are becommming rare arround here even tho its almost 1/10 of the cost per year for registration if the car is older than 30 years... Anyways... progress still need to paint the spoiler and flares and get my rear rims back... Brothers Should have put a 4age on webers in it but probably going to sell it to finance other projects... H
  17. i need to dissmantle the rest to sandblast it, found all the new bushings so now i only need bearing thingy in the end front shocks are blown Stock travel? 19cm both blown haha guessing they are cheap shocks? thinking of going with Bilsteins in all four corners..
  18. Moved two 4A-GE's down to the workshop i have to check the condition on both, unsure if i want the redtop or bluetop ITBs are for the Rallyrolla, but i think ill buy another set for the AE86 aswell :) but i only have one proper 4A-GE RWD manifold (its in my Ralyrolla now) and i need it in the AE86 to get it registered, so therefore i need to put ITB's on the Rallyrolla :) i'm actually thinking of putting in the bluetop for the registration and builing up the redtop with cams, itbs etc, so i can put it in after its registered.. this looks to be the best on the outside, i was told it had under piston oil squirters.. and its not a SC engine, its just a Redtop with SC valve covers, my 4A-GZE is in parts and inn need of a bore :(
  19. Me too! i'm really unsure if i should keep the flares, front and back spoiler black or paint them in the brown colour the body is going to be...?
  20. forgot to update here, i have way too many cars to work on so progress is a bit slow, dad is helping alllot on this one tho :) rust repair and finishing off the high arches new inner splash guards ditching the turbo idea because this car is like 4.th priority... going with bike carbs instead! first layer of paint is on! going for a simlar scheeme as the Rallyrolla :) just with other colors like this.. the car will still be brown but with yellow/white stripes here and there :) just like the rallyrolla
  21. i'v got no idea haha, i think I'm going to ditch it anyways, sawing it for a future dream build :) hopefully ill be able to afford another 86, get some N2 bodykit and make a exterior copy of the TRD N2 cars :) thats the dream atleast, this is going to be stock tho :) it getting warmer so i'v started sandblasing stuff :) LCA's crossmember going to scrape the underside of the body and just paint it, no coating or anything just paint :) so i need to remove the tectyl... hoping to flip the body and use diesel or somthing chemical :)
  22. chainging the headgasket for a TRD 0.8 one, the old one was blown anyways i think ill find a huge glassplate and some sand paper to remove the rest cleaning up the wiring now that i know what i need and not My cams and the headgasket good to have multiple intake possibilities i think I'm going to either remove the stock FPR like you said altezzaclub and put the malpassi in instead, but i need to find a block off plate then.. and I'm unsure if I'm going to remove the tvis or not?
  23. diff welded in got the rest finished test drive below!
  24. Don't know about the KE10 but when i swapped my engine in my KE20 for a KP61 engine with KP61 engine mounts, my exhaust hit the steering box--> a bit more upright than the stock ke20 mounts, but not much.. you could just shim the exhaust side engine mount a bit.... ?
  25. AE86 Tailshaft fits! now onto the engine, started taking the head apart 266/260 dur 9.5/9.0 lift back together bought a ITB manifold, can't wait till i get it :D
