  1. AE86 Brakes , ke20 brakes stiffer dampers behind low and stiff.. only had some 15" in the shop.. will be rocking 13" found a fuel pump, also orderd a Surge Tank , hose and fittings
  2. had a bit of an accident and lost a tire on the highway.. found a replacement but the bolts was loose and the tire did not hold air out with the 2T-C and in with something better great view in the garage now i don't think there will be a turbo in the brown one, I'm sticking with 2T-B with bike carbs.. about 100hp and i got everything i need AE86 to the left TA22 gearbox to the left, my tailshaft fits the TA22 box but does not bolt up to the 4A-GE so i need a 4AGE bellhouse to bolt up to it.. :) engine in, have to wait a week to do the engine mounts because i don't have a exhaust manifold yet.. ill also be doing the fuel system, going with a surge tank :) new steering knuckles, quick steering! 1+1/4 turn on the steering wheel to full lock the camberplates did not fit so i think i need new coilovers tops... but i put in orignal ones for now :) looks like i needed those RCA's...
  3. Brought my DSLR camera to the shop.. with the TRD wing without replaced that ugly gear nob with an original one i had laying arround. 330,000 km's on the clock seems like its been crashed once.. not too bad and the fix is not too easy to spot.. can't wait to take the suspention out and sand blast it! rust really good here! someone has welded in a new plate behind where the bumper sits and i had to fix the clutch on my daily.. the slave pump was not releasing, so the clutch was stuck sometimes..
  4. put it on jack stands and started investegating for rust.. not bad! i need to replace the brakes, they have been sitting for 10 years or so.. the suspention also needs to be sandblasted and repainted, with new bushing and bearings! i need to replace the brakes in the rear aswell, and strip/paint everything and fit with new bushes.. hopefully ill fit a LSD one day.. this was the worst case of rust i found.. covered up with a matal plate the backyard way.. drilled it off.. was the same on the other side, also a small hole where the lower fender mount is under the door :) i just looove the stock steering wheel of the 86's, and the long travel gear stick, ill have to get a stock gear nob..
  5. Planning on register it as a normal road car :) yeah its a bit pricey but its worth it! the price will not come down and its only like 30 registerd AE86's in Norway so they are impossible to get hold of! atleast a almost rust free one like this! TRD spoiler what kind of taillights trading the fornt end for a Trueno one in the us :) found a full polyurthane bushing kit in the boot! Zenki front lip, going to keep this :)
  6. Hey, as some of you may already know I have a coupple of other corolla projects, but i'v always wanted the 86 Trueno hatch.. so i figured i better get one before they become far too expencive... I found a decent one in Danmark so i went to get it! here are the pics form the listing okay some specs, New doors, bootlid, hood, TRD ductail, "almost" rust free, here are soe pics before he took it apart to rust weld it and remove the sunroof.. http://www.bilgaller...ta_corolla_ae86 annnnnd i got 3 4A-GEs aswell, 1 bluetop, 1 redtop 7 rib(atleast he told me it was the stronges one so i assume it was the 7 rib) and 1 4A-GZE in parts, also got 2 turbos and a couppel of intercoolers and a performance exhaust/extractor :) the trip took about 36 hours and i only sleept like one or two so I'm exhausted right now... had to protect the 86 from the salt on the road at the ferry, had to take the cover off for the tolls and customs... okay, so to get it into Norway i had to pay 630 AUD in toll/customs, the ferry cost like 500 and the car itself was 5000 AUD... so then my plan is to dissasemble it totaly and sandblast it... then repaint, get new (poly) bushes, bearings, brakes etc then, i want to take the Levin front of and get a Trueno front end with a JDM bumper, got a zenki lip with the car, also got a TRD rear ductail so ill be adding that, the paintjob is going to be White panda, hoping to make it overrated, using some time and moeny on this one, she's a keeper! :P also planning on getting a set of theese, 15x8 ET0, Rota RKR I love them! RS watanabe lookalike ill grap my DSLR camera and snap some pics next weekend, only mobile pics for now :)
  7. yesterday soemone tried to steal my car! he was to dumb but to manage to steal it.. lol a unlocked 1975 corolla and you can't steal it, you really should find something else to do! haha ALL the stuff in the gloveroom was scraped on the floor and all over the place, probly looking for keys, the main power switch was turned on and the fire extinguisher was gone, he probly left in a hurry because the door was wide open when in the morning... makes me so mad a filthy idiot has been inside my car..! anyways, got my AE86 brakes and wheel bearings.. mounted to hubs and new bearings now i need new bolts for the calipers mounts and longer bolts for the control arms since i have Roll center adjusters...
  8. i have a MS85 sitting form my RS50-->MS50 build... PM me if you want anything :)
  9. Hah always out practicing! yeah i going to weld in a bar n the harness to mount the straps to, the angle is a bit to much for much liking... anyways, got the car through inspections so now i have a daily again! needs a wash and a de-iceing :( Quarter bumpers! and i'v been thinking way to much lately, I'm absolutely going to own a AE86 before I'm 20, hopefully before! i'v created a saving accout named "AE86" and started saving up, all my extra's go to that accout, next year I'm finished with school and i can hopefully get a low wage job and start earning some cash... the problem is, i can't get a car form Japan/UK/austraila because its RHD, yeah i CAN but i don't want RHD... it must be a Hatch, it must be Trueno, it must have a 4A-GE... the problem being i don't want a USA car due to import laws and shipping prices, and we only got the Levin here in europe.. so i have to buy a "Euro spec" one and swap the front end to a Trueno, i also want it to be red or white panda so it'll need a repaint--> i can find a shabby Levin hatch here in Europe, strip it down, and take my time rebuilding it JUST like i want it, its just that finding a car is sooo hard! i'v talked to my brother and he may be able to pay for me if i find a perfect car and don't have the cash yet, so I'm just searching arround now... anyways the Rallyrolla is still getting AE86 struts with trd shocks and coils, 4age and a diff upgrade, not planning on selling any of my 20's to afford getting a AE86, I'm going to work really hard instad! i'v managed to get work now in x-mas, from 26.dec to 2. jan woking 15-20 hours a day= money and another one
  10. Test fitting going to make a bar form the wheel well to the other wheel well to mount the harnesses in so i get a better angel :) Looks really good behind! the car needs a wash tho.. going to mount another bucket seat and 4 point harness soon :)
  11. orderd new dics, pads and wheel bearings for 160 AUD inc. shipping i think i have evrything i need now apart from longer bolt to bolt the struts to the steering knuckles due to the RCA's and my steering knuckels bolts up to KE20 balljoints! mounted up my 4 point harness, getting the other one after x-mas.. it was out of stock
  12. haha i know, but they said the KE20 is god for 85KW without any papers form toyota... started making the car road legal again, failed at the EU-test, lots of small things... and some bigger.. this has to be fixed... after my "crash" this summer i bent a bar under the car.. this.... started bashing it out.. looks good above.. bottom is all smashed.. wohoo welded this up, since it was a bit floppy fixed a rust hole here also fixed a hole here front shocks are blow and leaking all over the place, so i took them off the car and wiped them clean, now I'm hoping it will pass the EU-check then when i have money i can get brake dics for my ae86 struts and swap in those instead of theese shitty struts/brakes.. soo when i installed it I put my camberplaters on.. also fixed the wiper fluid, horn, took of my extra lights since i had too many.. only allowed to have 2 and fasten my batteri a bit more...
  13. yep, need my seats to find the right height :) the diagonal across the door is going to be removable anyways, its not legal here in norway due to safety reasons! so i need to install it after inspections, got permisson to put 4AGE in my car, accorting to the database, the KE20 are register up to 85KW, and the 4age from a AE86 is at 84KW! wooohoooo!!! also got permission to put a half cage in! then we have a problem, manifold!! my runners don't fit, i think i need a orignal exhaust manifold :(
  14. ahh thanks! ill take a look at the lengths later :) got some more parts today... okey, started making the cage fit in the brown Turbo car, because the RallyRolla is my daily i need to make everything fit in this then transplant to the RallyRolla when everything works:) main hoop from an Opel kadett C, chopped of like 20cm of each leg then, now it fits! not sure what to do here, a cross? and i need something to mount my harness to aswell... hmm? looks mean! think the cage is going to be red, will go nice with the colors of the rallyrolla
  15. ahh okey, so then ill go get a 4 pin narrowband then :) yup suspention parts are for rally rolla, or maybe i should call it RaceRolla instead, suspention/shocks can always be swapped so ill se how it handels with this, i got it cheap and its brand new so ill try :) going with slotted and drille disc aswell since can get hold of them cheap, anyone know where i can get cheap brake pads? :) also probly need new brake pumps in the rear, but ill look into that later :) can i use the bellhousing from the AE86 onto a TA22 gearbox so i can use the TA22 tailshafta and diff? :) the 86 box was making some noises said the guys i bought it off...
  16. Tor, how many Toyotas do you have?! sweet KP61! anyways , let me show you some parts i got hold of this weekend.. used waaay to much money.. AE86 struts with coilovers, new T3 Roll center adjusters, new T3 cambe plates, new T3 Steering knuckles (made for AE86 struts and KP61 LCA, will this fit the ke20? :) ) I also got theese shocks, brand TRD short stroke! combining all theese with a 26mm swaybar, another swaybar at the rear, shorter/stiffer shocks at the rear, i think its going to corner pretty hard! :hmm: i also got the hubs and brakes, but i need new disc and pads... anyone know where to get that cheap? annnd then a 4AGE, owerhauled due to hydrolock then a blown headgasket, therefore he took it apart and changed all the bearings, new pistons rings etc so its fresh! complete with wiring harness and ECU but the wideband sensor is missing, do i need this or could i block the sensor hole? also got this told not to be ebay! whole exhaust is stainless and has V band clamps!!!
  17. haha the KE20 are wayyy to light for winter driving! aahh thanks BLZBUB, then ill just use the Ta22 axle! probly needs some new brake parts :) and iv bought myself a set of AE86 struts, vented brakes, Coilovers, AE86 steering arms ( hope they are PS), aaaand TRD short stroke shocks :D the cage is shipped, they only had 1 set of 4 point harnesses right now so ill be getting the other one after new year :)
  18. i think i have a coupple of those, let me check next time I'm home :)
  19. i have clips for KE20, they may be similar? :) you are lucky to be able to put your car away for the salt seasson!
  20. Okay, been looking into converting the whole car into 4x114 becuase , i have a spare TA22 diff laying arround ( if I'm right there are 2 versions of theese diffs, one that can fit lsd into?) and i got a spare set of TA22 struts, but i will be needing bigger brakes when putting the 4age into the car because of rules and stuff.. what disc will fit onto the ta22 struts? i need ventilated discs.. i can make the calipter adapter plate, the problem is finding a disc that will fit.. i can get the hubs machined if nessecary :)
  21. Thanks alot! I'll take meassurments in empty parts car tomorow :) guess who's happy!?
  22. Thanks alot! will take meassurements in my car and see if it will fit  only thinking of a half cage since its a road car and i don't want to be driving with a helmet all the time..
  23. Bike is gone, 4age it is! not this weekend but the next I'm going to pick it up! anyways, iv found acompany here in norway that makes cages for cars, they have ke70 cages for cheap, will a KE70 main hoop fit a KE20? could anyone meassure out the hight of the roof and width in a ke70? the hight is adjustable with a angel grinder tho, the width is whats important.. :)
  24. okay so first off, I almost crashed into a moose today, coupple of feets away, locked my brakes for like 20 meters... scary! :o one of the reasons i hate driving at night! accutaly at the same place as my 2T-G overheated.. the place hates me! then i saw a 4age+T50 kit for sale and advertised my Cafe Racer to afford it, a guy is coming to look at my CR tomorow hoping it goes away! comes with everyting you need to run a 4age buetop/bigport + exhaust and it has log type manifold, engine has new main bearing, rod bearings, piston rings, every gasket and seal, water pump.. T50 box makes some noise, but hey its a T50! its only missing the electrical fuel pump and tailshaft, will my TA60 tailshaft fit the gearbox? or will my T series gearbox fit? hes asking 2000 AUD, I'm asking 2200 for my CR, perfect! i know its expencive but hey the 4AGE is REALLLY rare here, we only got 4 AE86's back in the days and all where used in rally, we got the FWD ae82 with 4age... i was looking in his engine bay at the last jap meet i was at, didn't know he was selling back then.. :( here is the ad: http://www.finn.no/f...hQuery=4age t50
  25. Ahh, yeah that makes a lot of sense making it longer, kind of got scared when i crashed the last time, an inch lower and my oil pan would have been smashed and probly the pickup aswell, an inch higher the radiator would have gone, going to reinforce the front end a bit, and I'm accutaly considering a half cage and 4 point harness when the summer comes arround and i don't need a back seat anymore, i need to send in an applycation for installing that, i'v also gotta send in one for the engine.. lots of paperwork and i travel a bit to get the swap/parts evaluteded :( actually hoping to get a job in a local workshop next year, found out i don't need school to be a eductaed mecanic, 4 years of practical work, the 2 first years i have to have a few hours a week at school tho, work with low payment but its still payment :D I'v got a problem here.. is this weldable?
