the palmside gear set is actually a TRD one, i can get those cheaper as we are official TRD dealers, whereas palmside arnt. id be keen for that exel spreadsheet if you can email it
-
palmside cheap??? thats a first!! best thing is to check what you need to get for what you want to do, and be care ful buying blets from here, regs are changing and iv seen people trying sell harnesess cheap that wont meet future standards. maybe contacting a local car club could be an idea. if you find some where in nz that has a deal your keen on let me know and ill call them, may even get a discount for ya  iv just ordered a set for a tech here, $225 nz for 4/5 point latch type mounting single seate rtype in a sallon could get tricky!!

nick! when do you sleep??? :fuzz: my non car/women interest are: karate, i study bushin ryu, which is a little different from other styles, in that it incorprates a lot of other styles such as ikijitsu, torite, gung fu etc etc. its NOT sport based and everything we do is based on the assumption we will have to use it to save our lives one day. which makes it quite nasty compared to other styles  we also do weapons training :P and last night attended a seminar on pressure points were i learned some very interesting things. well interesting if your the one doing them, not being done too!! pistol shooting. started a year or so ago, not going hard core yet but am a decent a shot! mate of mine used to train the nz champ and he reckons i should compete. maybe one day. i use a 38 special, which is a 357 magnum with different ammo. BANG hehe oh and for fun i use a .44magnum, just call me dirty :) and seeing as its non car stuff thats about it!
-
same here! gee I'm bored......... :imstupid:

i didnt quite phrase that the way i intended.. what i meant was id use the 4agze flywheel, but not a t50. id go the w55 straight up. that way when/if you plan any power upgrades youv got the running gear to handle it
-
i also do a very convinsing b/s too! :jason: I'm just lucky to have a job where i have acsess to things some people can only dream about!!
-
oh and for the half cut question..... ae101 will get you an 20v silvertop ae111 will give you a black top as to which one u choose will depend on what u want... if u intend to go turbo start with the silvertop. the best combo would be silver top shortblock, blacktop head. the silver top has stronger conrods. if you wanna go n/a then black top would be the best. if you aim for more than or constant 85-9000rpm then ull need the silvertop rods

overdose, a little tip... generally people on forums are very keen to help. for a lot of us thats a major part of it. i love helping fellow enthusiasts. iv found that if you do a bit of research and don't just ask every question you can think of youll get more help. ie, show your doing the work and ull get more. some people get annoyed at people expecting to be told all the secrets (some learned at great pain and exspense) just a little tip, please don't misunderstand this as a flame :jason: id be happy to answer any specific questions u have. thats is providing i know the answer!

the 4agze flywheel is slightly larger i beleive, but id still use it. its the box id be concerned about... are you planning on power upgrades? hard driving? a t50 is fine on a 4age but whack any serious power thru it and itll break. the ae71 fly wont even bolt on to the crank
