just had another scrounge through our dusty shelves.... can't find ANY 4k manuals :sad: but will look further... i doubt you will find a manual for the 4k-e being a jdm engine only and before imports were common it was probably never made in english. the only different parts are in the injection anyway. i did however find a lot of starlet chassis/body manuals and the k50 gear box one as well as w55 manual. i think ill go throught the lot and catalouge it... theres a lot of good info there...

more to confirm if it has worn oval etc.... i get on well with the local engine rebuilders so its costing $30nz well worth it i reckon. we shall soon find out anyway!

we're getting the crank crack tested and tested for straightness etc, that will tell us more about the engine and its condition :insane:

say what u like! ill never like evos or wrxs!! seriously the wrx has to be the worst sounding thing around.... hard to explain, but it sounds forced to me... no smoothness. id just save a bit more and get an escort cossie :greenbounce: and over here a turbo supra is cheaper than a new wrx...... and cheaper than all late ones, $20k will get ya a supra here :doublebird:

haha no serisouly the only wrx id ever even consider owning would be a 22b. i HATE the froced drone of their exhausts!! and they are UUUUUGGGLYYY! and just don't excite me! evos i find more exciting but as they are built by mitsi they break and cost to fix. for the $$ of a wrx id prefer a supra or an altezza. or build something! but thats just me
