  1. You have a 4AC. Nothing... I repeat, NOTHING you do with that engine will make even a standard Exeedy slip.
  2. Currently sitting in my yard, sucking the coolness out of all the other cars parked around it
  3. This is why on the very, VERY rare occasions I entrust my Chaser to a knuckle dragging low brow buck toothed mouthbreathing mechanic, (or similar) I turn the TRC on, Snow mode on, and remove both those switches. I trust no-one :)
  4. Fighting for peace is like f*cking for virginity - George Carlin

  10. ^^^ This I have a LWB Suzuki Sierra ute on the farm. Its a rusty bucket of shit, will never see the road again, but its perfect for my property as it fits the firefighting tank & pump in the back, and can squeeze down tracks a normal ute wouldn't fit. It needed a clutch. Can't buy just the disc anymore, had to get a whole kit. $168 later... The whole car only cost me a carton of XXXX Gold!
  11. Mike Burroughs' E28... Car burned to death in a garage fire last week :( http://www.flickr.com/photos/spasticdwarf/ (scroll down)

  13. I'm just here because you spelled 'Aesthetic Sensibilities' correctly. Bravo. You must have attended one of those fancy shmancy schools that still actually teach kids how to read. (I'd just assumed English was phased out of the curriculum sometime around 2005)
  14. I was about to say that. :P The M20B25 is an infinitely better engine... 120-ish kw on an average day. Cheap as buggery too, they're everywhere.
  15. You and me both man... I've got a place up the hill from here and I'd be living there if I could... But, the money is down here with the noise and traffic and scum and I'd go batty driving 2 hours to work up and down the Gillies Range... ( youtube it, you'll see what I mean :P )
  16. Damn straight... Replica woody, 1UZFE and velvet drive inboard :) I've got a little place on lake Tinaroo up here... But my ex-fisheries 15ft centre console doesn't really turn heads when I pull up to the dock at the restaurant on the other side of the lake :P
  17. Full mahogany... Nothin' but class :) I'd love to restore (well, pay someone like you to restore because I'm effing useless with wood) a genuine Clinker runabout but that's mega $$$$... I'll settle for a modern replica.
  18. mmm I like wood things. I will own one of these one day...

  22. He's right... Focus is the wrong word though, he should've said adjust or aim. Pop the bonnet and have a look at how the headlights are mounted... You'll notice there are some screws that actually hold the entire assembly to the body, and some that have a fine thread and are fairly long. These are the ones you turn to make fine adjustments to the aim. Most RWC places are *technically* supposed to have an aiming grid on the wall somewhere... So ask HIM to do it if he wants them adjusted :)
  23. We had one too... Brand new :P Family owned a quarry at the time so it was bright 'do not run over with 75 tonne loader' yellow. :D
