    Not illegal to remove if its 'faulty' *cough* loophole *cough* Seeing as most of the valves, filters and hoses will be clogged, missing or incorrectly routed anyway, far better to remove the lot. I always do. But, when you do, make sure to remove everything, not just a few bits and pieces. And don't just disconnect... remove. Plug any holes you have after doing so.

    You have many options.... a nice new/reconditioned 32/36 with an adaptor plate to suit the 3T mani, or find a factory weber off a wreck, re-jet and adapt it. I'm unsure what cars came with webers from factory in your next of the woods, but an hour or two wandering around your local wrecking yard should yield some results. How much? No idea.

    Jaycar is your friend :D They actually these pretty nifty LED packs I discovered not long ago, prewired for 12v in groups of 3, variety of colours. Handy. Cheap too.

    They're more like a forwarder, so they use whatever company is the cheapest or most convenient for your job... but they use reputable companies and I've never had an issue. I've freighted entire engines from Cairns to Adelaide before, wheels, gearboxes.... no breakages or items lost.
