A Morris Minor ... Well .... A jolly nice welcome to you old chap :) tonynoosa wrote Quote HB torana disc's on front. Why not use corolla disks off a KE55 / 70 ?? and for that matter you could use the complete rear end from a KE55 as its only 10mm different then a morris's rear end width

It sounds as if you have stripped the threads on the plug or the threads in the housing. A replacement plate would be easiest as opposed to re-cutting the threads and getting a bigger plug to suit.
