Go buy a 3kb inlet gasket and it will be a good stencil for porting

The valve seats were cut using a 5 angle cutter The valves are 1mm oversize for intake and exhaust Can remember the throat size I havent real got stuck into it but i pulls hard throught the rev range

U will have to space up the rocker gear U have to find valve spring to suit i used holden blue 202 And datsan a12 pushrods That is what i have done

If you read my 5k build post it tell everything i did I didnt take much off the 3kb head as I'm running a zero deck height and machined the 0 dish pistons down to a near flat top

I have used a15 valves In my 5k you need to use blue 202 valve springs datsan colets and a12 pushrods and 3k adjustable rocker gear and you have to make 3mm spacer to space up the rocker gear You have to get the seat recut to suit the valves and porting the head will also help with flow You have to trim the rocker gear adjustment screw

U can run any k head on a 7k block as the only difference is the 3 outer bolt holes which u can get put on But you have to work out yoir compression ratios

I habe tryed putting the 7k crankshaft into a 4k/5k block it does not work but the time you notch out the bore for cleanance for the conrods Hence why the 7k block is wider and taller

U can drill out the spot welds but i done know if u be able to refit the plate

U are best to go to a speed shop or engine machine shop There is no point buying any part till u have stripped a d inspected parts especially if u are planning on reusing them

U can use 4age 16v head studs but u have to buy two sets as u can only use the long ones

It 35mm all the way through the runner and then the bowl has been reshaped as well The valve guide has been tapped back abit to lift the roof off the port and bowl

What larger valves did u use

Where did u get the trd valves from

Cost me $450 to get ported Only got to get new valve guides fitted and seats cut and new valves and then faced so be about $1000 when finished

The inlet ports on my head are 35mm This head is goin on a 5k with flat tops It will have 10.2.1 comp
