I havent got em in my new one yet, and expecting a bit of a lean lol, in the white one it was pretty even, only a lil lower at the rear. Cheers, Ben.

With the mentioned repairs being made she'll be looking sweet. I thought your Calais was a 5L as well for some reason, but it has V6 badges? Meh, anyway if your gonna sell the Vp let me know cos she'd be a sweet daily. Cheers, Ben.

Gonna hopefully get my lowering blocks in this week, get that ass draggin :POSTPICS!: Don't know what I'll do with the front yet tho, so she'll be ridin like a lowrider for a while. Anyone wanna buy a sweet looking, mad original 20? haha I'll try to get some pics with the walls up asap. Cheers, Ben.

Yeah clear paint could work I suppose... I gave em another good hit with the chrome polish, cranked out the steel wool and they came up pretty good. Just gave em a good coat with some of my dads Plexus afterwards. Its a plastic protectant and it works sweet, keeps them looking shiny, and puts like a waxy layer on them. Cheers, Ben.

Haha, How ya know I'm always at Autobarn? Yeah she's not bad, looks a bit better in pics though. The paint has some marks on the roof and bonnet I think from not being washed for so long, as well as some marks from where the roof racks were. Cheers, Ben.

Well I had a good night last night. On the way home from work my instrument backlight went out, when I arrived home I found that my taillights were also out, brake lights, indicators and reverse lights work, but no taillights. Also my drivers window is now stuck open about 3 inches lol. They windows were opening and closing like a brand new car, now its jammed. Guessing the lights is just a fuse or something, will have a look when its not raining out there. Have no idea about the window, guess I'll have to take the door trim off and have a look when its not raining. Damn rain! Anyone in Adelaide got one of the tools to take the window winder off?

Yeah my old one was definitely a lot better. No doubt about that. I miss it alot, but I did sell that to get a 5L V8 pimper lol. This is just my daily for the moment. But I sold my old one for over $3000, where as I scored this for less than half. I won't say how much less. She has a bit of rust as mentioned, will get pics up of rust tomorrow. If I was to repair it, I'd probably just get two front guards lol. Has a terrible sounding rattle in the engine, thought it might be the tappets, but using a screwdriver to listen to everything around the engine I suspect distributor now maybe, as that's where its loudest. Will have a look at that tomorrow if I get a chance, for now she runs fine, is very reliable, just have to fill up the radiator every few days until I get a new one. Gotta love the 4 spd manual as well, very different to the 5 spd in my old one. Cheers, Ben.

Forgot to mention I obviously gave all the plastic trims a coat of paint. Just got wheel silver. Will put up up photos showing the bad parts later. Cheers, Ben.

Sorry about the size of the pics, don't have photoshop at the moment. Cheers, Ben.

Well heres some pics for now. Gettin some blocks in the rear tomorrow, 1.5" from Outlaw Speed Shop lol, 2" whitewalls on Friday, ordered a new boot rubber as you can see that ones stuffed, will have some venetians and RAA grille badge on asap. Cheers, Ben.

Far out man, I love all your KE20's. Love the common colour as well haha. Will be watching this. Cheers, Ben.

Yeah thats what my dad reckons, give em a coat of wax after polishing. Cheers, Ben.

Hey, just wondering what you guys use to polish your chrome hub caps on your Rollas? On my old white KE20 I just used some chrome polish, almost like jiff lol, that my mate gave to me, worked a treat. MY new KE20, being owned by an old man for its life, the hubbies were filthy, gave em a good try with the chrome polish, came up allright, but after all this rain they're looking all dirty and rusty again... Anyone got something that keeps them looking nice and shiny? Cheers, Ben.

No shit, mega jealous here mate. As for centre caps, RadRollaz on here has a similar wheel and tyre combo and is running standard ke30 centre caps. They should look pretty mickey on a KE2* too. Cheers, Ben.

Sweet looking 26 right there! Cheers, Ben.

Cheers guys. My mate bought it with the intention of repairing rust, full respray and chucking a rotor in it. I'm glad he didn't as the car is hell original, even if it isn't the best condition. Hopefully will have pics up early next week, as my comps fixed now. Cheers, Ben

Hey guys, bought this last week off my mate who purchased it off the original owner two months ago. Technically it is a three owner then but oh well :hmm: The grandpa was buying a new Corolla and was gonna use this as trade in, but they only offered him $300. so my mate made an offer and subsequently bought it. Its a 1974 KE20 SE Corolla, the luxo pack hehe. Has an 'awesome' Sanyo am radio/cassette player with Sanyo speakers in the rear trims. Has 67,000km on the clock. Stock 3k, 4 speed, runs well now. Interior is near immaculate minus torn drivers seat, and a crack in the dash pad, and torn gear boot. Has all tools including little case in great condition. Exterior isn't the best, paint, being all original is slightly faded and not the best, has a bit of rust behind the rear wheels, passengers door, and in both front guards and inner guard panels. Spent all of last week degreasing, cleaning and polishing every inch of the car. After all the work she really does look alot neater and is actaully now all orange. I have put my sunvisor on, still awaiting venetians, got 1.5 inch lowering blocks from Outlaws, 2 inch whitewalls next Friday. Having not been driven for a while it needed a bit of attention, gave her a good tune, as she was running rich as. Got new front tyres, tie rod end was stuffed, so fitted a new one, have new radiator on order, should be fited next week as the one in there is corroding due to age and leaking haha. Don't really know what else to say, I'm just dailying it for now, maye take the rust out and give it a respray in the future. If anyone is wrecking a KE20 I need both inner front guards (between the actual guard and tub). I'll get pics up asap. Cheers, Ben.

WOW, a Ke20 the same colour as my new one. Will get pics up soon. CHeers, Ben.
