Yeah you did, it's a daily driver. And thats how I got it back from the mechanics, but it is on the mend I assure you. More something is the lack of time with 6 days a week of shift work, no sapre car and not a great deal of spare cash to throw into it..Is that a bit clearer? edit: and the slack ass who drives it didn't clean up the blown head gasket mess and paint the covers, lol.

Thanks Jon, yeah had the car since1997 pulled out the 4ac with 365xxxkms STILL running. Wacked in the 2 cam and been up and on from there, was blue then purple now green. Other than a few more things like brakes and carpet not much more to do other than power upgrades.

Do they hit the oil filter like mine or are they good, if so what brand

When I replaced mine (temp sender) I flicked on the keys once done and it went straight to the roof, checked the bay and hadn't put the wire back on soon as I did this it went back to normal temp. As it was worm when I changed it.

Check under the back seat for the fuel sender see if it's still connected, and the same with the temp sender in the engine bay other then that I'm spent..

Nice, gotta love that. When you go to enquire about something and the sales person says yep this, this and this it's all good. You go ahead and buy the stuff and it's not even remotely what you need or at the least neally what he/she said.
