i didnt think that an oil filter that simply held a varger volume of oil at any time would change the pressure but slow the pressure building up and dropping away as fast. would this be right? also, what are these "Z386 (4af/g type)" oil filters worth? and are they worth the extra compared to the standard RYCO?

stupid expensive cars. vut i spose that if cars that were expensive suddenly became cheap and affordable them everyone would get one and they wouldnt be worth it. id rather pay the extra for a TE27 to know that not too many people in aus would have a genuin one. :wink: "How to the Australian clones of Japanese cars compare? eg. i never used to like full size stickers either but then i started liking the PAC performance stickers on there cars and there customers cars and now i love them. although there is a vl commodore gettin round gere blue with some wheels and it has a massive sticker angled over the bonett and a little over the front guard and it f@$king says 'berlina' WTF??

ive had some scary moments in cars that i certainly could have done without. was in a car (mums VT) with a mate goin through a roundabout and this vs commidore comes FLYING out in front of me so i hit the brakes hard and he hits his even harder and theres a shit load of smoke coming off his 2 front tyers and then he decides theres still enough room and nails the trottle and off he goes. f@$king close. if i had my old hq ute i would have parked it in his rear end so good; good old steel car. another time there was 5 of us in a vp wagon and 4 of us were pissed and the driver was 0 BAC and it was raining and we aproach a sweeper turn in the highway and the sign says 70 reccomended and he decides he can do better than that, so he acelerates up to 147 (i looked at the speedo as we were doin it) from like 120 and we hit a puddel and aquaplain across the road in a full on 4 wheel slide and then recovered in the oncomming lane and kept goin. f@$kin scary. the guy drivin is a MAD c**t and i could have decked him so bad for decidin to do that with 4 other people in the car. i HATE commodore drivers within context (you all know who they are) just to clear it up, I'm a rolla head and only borrowed mums car cause it was the last in the driveway and my mate driving his wagon is building up a gemi with a v6 in it. its the commodore f@$k wits that think every standard commodore goes like a bullit and handles like its on rails.

i thought that project gothem racing 1 was crap to the max. felt like i was playing slo-mo constantly. ive played xbox - sega GT (best yet for the box) - all of the burnout games. (passed the latest one in like 4 days) - Need for speed underground 1 and 2 - project gothem racing 1 - juiced (only good in small doses) PS2 - Gran Turismo 1, 2, 3 A-Spec, and I'm doin 4 now - one of the colin mcray's (spelling) - something else that i can't remember PC - Need for speed, all of them. think theres 5 all up - 2002 nascar truck racing - driver (man that sucked) i LOVE my racing games and need some more. havent found anything to top the Gran Turismo's though. i want a game that specialises in old skool cars. I'm gonna have a look around for rall trophey and live for speed. thanks lads.

i love the car and don't hate the the color, but it isnt high up on the color chart for me. but deff do something with the bumpers already. have you any more cheap SR's layin about as I'm doin an sr transplant into m rolla and are after a dummy engine that i can test fit. the thing coulf be siezed for all i care. buyin an S15 SR20DET later when i have the money to throw at it :wink:

HELL YES!!! i actually like rice, but they should so stay with there scene. I'm doin an SR conversion. did you have any more pictures of the engine bay maybe zoomed out more and a few diff angels. a spec list would be helpfull too. the way you got the info on the cars i thought youd have some on that one. nothing wrong with big rims and small profile tyers, looks tuff and it serves a purpose (HATE spongey tyers) this thread is way old hey. still got it though. :wink:

i like a car that sits flat around a corner even though it becomes a little mroe snappy as you say, but even with that the positives out weigh the negitives ??

i just have something against everything that dosent need to be in a car. i don't care about luxuries and all that crap, never even have a sterio in any of my cars. and its the cheapest way to make it go faster. making more power costs money :wink: i tell you what, the back seat pisses me off too. i never put people in the back because it wrecks the seats and the 'V' that you have to get through to get to the back. I'm all about basic in my work hack.

its personal preference i reckon, personally i couldnt bring myself to drive the base model of something, ive always aimed for the top model of something i liked. weather its made here or there. usually there are better variations of cars cause they are better. eg. the KE25 is a super sexy coupe and some people do them up to be a TE27, now to me its still a 25. if you want a 27 then get a 27 granted that they are very expensive and rare, as well as never actually being made in australia. youll just have to figure out what you want and what you can afford and go from there, youll find that that alone will cut it down to size pretty quick unless your rich :wink:

well seeing that I'm in bendigo that means that the prices will be ten fold that cause bendigo is dear from the minimul turnover of those parts. hehe, rollas wernt meant to 'lay out', you have been on subsided too much :wink: at least you didnt tell me to put drop spindals under it. they do however "look" nice when there droped on there ass but thats not always a good thing for a rolla when it comes to handeling. thanks for that sj, ill try and find a price for billstein stuff from here and see what they are worth, even though i don't actually wanna enter a big air competetion.

agree, read up on some stuff first as you can find the answers as well as other things that you didnt think of in the same thread/faq area. besides weather the combination works or not, if you can get a webber for not much then grab it anyway cause youll end up finding something for it :wink:

nice ride you got there man, good luck with the buildup, bad luck with the nudge and a general question. wouldnt putting a 4k head on a 5k block raise the complression and shaving the head would break even with the compression of a stock 5k? people put 3k head on 4k block and wham, more compression = not turbo friendly (as much). got any pictures of that paint color on something, sounds interesting. :wink:

that's a nice looking ride there, i was going after a 30 coupe to start with but couldnt find none. keep up the progress and good luch with the interior reconstruction. go pimp my ride just make sure that you don't use plasma screens any smaller than say 100cm and don't worry about the roof lining, just line it with amps for the woofer system :wink: good luck with it man

Real name - Ashley Nick name - Muller (last name) Ride - Red KE25 Ride nick name - Red rocket or neat (number plate is 'NEAT 25', a guy at work always called it that) i also own a few more rollas but cbf listing them all :D oh yeah, don't wreck that car man, looks far too clean and neat to go destroying it. they can look seriously good when completely done up and all that but i sometimes wonder how such an old car can look as tough as nails when completely stock with some subtle wheels, lowerd a smidge and maybe tinted windows. all of which are totally removable when needed, if needed. should get the number plate NAILS, looks tough. :wink: already had the thread about your wheels and would looker tougher with globes rather than jelybeans. :D personal preferance.

sorry lads, can't get my rolla goin in time for the bbq:( set myself a list of things to do and it ended up being too much to do in the time slot i had to get it done by. got basically everything done but as you would probably know that things come up that you didnt expect when dealing with an old car. I'm just goin to grab my mums VT and come along. i just remembered that summernats in camberra is on that weekend too. i guess that none of you are goin to that, ive missed the last 3 so dam i wana go but weel just have to see how it pans out. drift, drags, burnouts, topless chicks, show and shine, would all this be happening at the bbq?? :wink:
