Sounds like its coming in the other tube, not the PCV, the other one that runs into the base of the air cleaner. Run a small air filter rather then the tube, or as suggested a catch can.

My guess would be some sort of tape deck, maybe even 8 track! Thats if ke10s had such an option? I've seen a lot of old "hi-fi" equipment have these sorts of plugs, and they usally are used for aux inputs and such... Don't know if that helps...

I got a 2inch system put on my standard 3k, kept the stock manifold, got a big resinator, and a turbo rear muffler, and i reackon its got more power. Don't go straight thru!

2 speed or 3 speed auto? 2speed cross member is the same as manual, but the later 3 speeder is very different!

Do you mean the auto doesn't kickdown? ie change down a gear? Because it should change down when you put your foot flat.

Just saw this last night, and thought i'd share. I hope they get it right... wheels

Well after a bit of research, i found out that this car made its bathurst debut in 1979, in the up to 1600cc class. No not the K engine, it was a T series engine. It only got thru 41 laps before the oil pump drive broke. For the record it was car number 77. The car was back at Bathurst in 1980. This time as number 62. It suffered a broken fan belt, but still managed to finish 6th in class, and 28th outright, and covered 127 laps. It qualified 47th for the 81 race, in a time of 2.43.1. Or about 37 seconds slower then toadys V8supercars!

Got some piccies here of the corolla 'Levin' that raced in the old group C days in the early 80s. The pics are of a slight off during the ATCC in 82. And one of the car at Bathurst 81, where the car ran in the 1600cc class, but only managed 88 laps. I'll try and get some info on this car.
