I had a similar problem with my ke30, wouldn't idle, ran like shit, just the other morning, got home turns out it was so cold the carbie had iced up! Right on top of the main jet.
But i don't spose you have as cold morings as us folk in canberra!
As stated in this thread here,It appears that i need my master cylinder rebuilt.
So is there anyone recommended in the ACT region, work can perform said task??????
I'm on top of the fluid, and i just take it from 2nd res and put it in the 1st every week or so.

Well...maybe a slight over enthusiastic statement, but i can defenitly feel the pedel go down when the first one emptys.
As far as i know pedel travel is normal, about an inch, inch and a halve...
I was wondering if anyone knows why my master cylinder in my 76 ke30 is playing up.
What happens is the main fluid Reservoir (black lid) will empty its fulid and the secondery reservoir (red lid) will fill up to over-flowing.
So what i have to do from time to time is take fluid from red, and put it into black, so the pedel doesn't go to the floor!
Can it be fixed :bash:
Just saw this, and thought i'd share with everyone.
I think its a great idea, and i'd vote for them, considering the lack of big time motorsport in canberra, and the way the V8 race and dragway were dealt with by the stanhope government.
