Are you sure its not just blow by. the metal tubes around the spark plugs have a bad habbit of stretching witch usually causes external oil leaks around the plugs. also what sort of oil did you use as i have seen motors replaced just because the oil was wrong.

I pitty the poor mechanic who had to remove that mess. It would be better than a live snake though. I have also make herd of the same thing happening with cats, they make more of a mess.

Ke 30 35 55 should have the clutch cable flange allready on the firewall. as my auto KE30 in picture circled in red. you may just need to drill the hole. just swap over evrything.

Every time you step on the gas do you hear a loud high pitch hum or buzzing sound coming out of your speakers? Chances are its caused by a ground loop. This is when the amplifier and radio are getting their grounds in 2 different locations and back feeding. Engine noise can also be caused by coil or alternators. simply fit a $5 suppressor on both the alternator and the coil.

I have had a lot to do with insurance companys they are full of tricks, watch out for Market Value, fine print, loss adjustors, market value that they will try to pay you out. the best action is to ask a wreck value first say you want the wreck. eg my cousin had a street machine the market value was for a A1 car of that model was $2500, the insurance company offered $3000 and they wanted $2000 for the wreck. it went to court the out come was that a wreck from a car A1 condition that model with this much damage was $500. there fore they thought it was worth 4 times the standard value, so the ombudsmman awarded $10000 and he could keep the wreck. fine print My house insurance was the top cover, a police car chased a stolen car thru my front fence. the policy said if you can give the name of the person that did the damage we will cut the excess. police arrested the person in my yard and gave me his name and a wittness statement, they saw it happen. the fine print said we will only cut the excess if we can recover the money from them. email or pm me and I am happy to help

has it got any rust in the front gaurds or above the rear wheel arch seam?.

need more information, Does the car have to be driving for this noise to be herd? Does this noise get worse at speed, Does this noise go away after a while ?

both Bunnings and Stratco have GMC 750 watt 2 stroke petrol generators for $98, I bought one and have run it for about 600 hours only replaced the plug. it runs grinders, drills, lights but will not boil a big kettle. I am so impressed with mine, I bought another a few weeks ago as a spare.

If you have acses to a multimeter check the battery voltage with the engine runing at the battery. it should be between 13.8 and 14.2 volts. next check the voltage at the alternator output post {positive red} and the negative terminal on the back alternator housing {black} if the readings are Different You have bad connections somewhere. pm me for more help.

thats sad :P :no2: a nice ke30 rammed like that. maybe you could look for another good body and swap every thing over.

some brand gaskets have larger holes, check at your parts store they should have a catalouge with sizes ect. make sure it is a nice and smooth flowing surface or else your wasting your time.

Id like one just like it. Is xx stamped on the firewall on them ? Do you know if there is any way to tell from the firewall number if they had factory square headlights ? are the wheels on your car factory alloys that came out on the xx ? I have been doing some reading but can't find a lot of information.

check oil in gearbox first for level and metal particals in oil, you also might want to check your, tailshaft universal joints engine and gearbox mounts as well.

I have seen the following used in demo's Remove cooling fan from water pump, remove cooling fan from alternator, remove thermostat, bypass radiator and run a hose from the waterpump directly to thermostat housing with a radiator cap at the top somewhere. it will get hot but not as hot as without water. don't forget the radiator cap or it will blow a hose.
