fuel cell arrived today >| diagrams have bee sent off to get my surge tank made Got my fitler and ordered my fitting for the tank so hopefully the car isnt in pieces for too much longer. Just waiting for parts basically. After paying extra for the foam filled tank i found out that i can't run it due to the fact i run pre-mix (it breaks it down) so pulled it out :lolcry: Surge tank is going to be roughly 3.75ltrs so wont ever have any fuel starvation problems

I would be getting the biggest SS muffler that can fit before the diff in there to quieten it down. Can be a straight through one so wont effect performance (you wont notice any power loss anyway) but will quieten the car down considerably

ill hav some KE70 brakes FS soon, mayb even a complete KE20 strut with new shocks and 6kg front springs. Would be perfect for you beast mate!

S1 box should handle the power no worries, its your diff that will go first.

those wheels fill out the guards nicely too, any srcubbing issues??? looks like the guards need a slight roll/flare to get them under the guards, def has a tuff stance to it

Yeh thats pretty much what i was doing, was just a pain in the arse when doing long trips. I take the car out to morgan regularly, which until now entailed me filling up at Kapunda plus needed to fill atleast one 20ltr jerry can just so i could make it there and back to kapunda :no2:

I'm sure we can work something out and try get both cars out together. Yeh its definitely quick and fun, all the suspensions been done is very controllable when the back wheels are going much faster than the fronts haha

yeh thats was when i just chuck it in the car, after that day i spent a couple of hrs making sure it was more accurate. Plus that day the car didnt actually run out of fuel..... lift pump power cable came off :jamie: It should be safe to say i wont have anymore fuel issues with the car after i finish the new set-up :no2: This is the fuel cell ive ordered

haha a big port big turbo weapon!!! Found out today that the fuel cell i ordered needs to come from the states and could take AGES, so ive changed my order to a 16 gallon Aluminium foam fill tank with sump and sender unit. Bit more expensive, but don't have to wait as long plus the other tank didnt have a sender so saves me mucking around trying to make my speco one work :no2:

yeh same! unfortunately i was pretty busy at the meet point handing out cruise sheets etc etc so didnt get a chance to really have a look at many cars, would of loved to check urs out. I almost bought it at one stage before i built mine. Yeah always next time, hopefully i can get my new fuel set-up done before mine runs out of rego cos once it runs out I'm redoing my whole front suspension/brakes so prob be off the road for a couple of months. I only ever rego it for 3 months cos its never usually on the road long before i want to start upgrading more stuff on it lol EDIT: gotta love the sound of a ported rota

today i removed the fuel set-up in the boot including the tank. Ordered my fuel cell, 16 gallon (60ltr) foam filled Ill give the boot a fresh lick of paint while its empty While cleaning out the shed i found these, gave them a clean and they came up sweet so I'm stoked!
