Car type? Engine type? daily or w/e car? what do you want to use the car so? i.e. cruising through he CBD or thrashing through the hills All of the above will/should contrubite to making your decision ;)

Ive got work so can't make it anyway, but a word of advice: cruising through the city puts alot of people of due to the "attention" received from the bpys in blue (unfortunately). I for one would NOT drive my car through the city

I wont ne attending in the Ke20, i over spent on my Jambo holiday in a big way, which slows the progress down on the car a bit unfortunately

Nice work, I'm using a S5 RX7 g/box so gearing wont be a problem for me (5spd). Running the standard turbo, front mount and just a few other basic mods. Looking at around the 160-170 rwkw which is definitely enough in a small/light car. But as you have said traction is a major issue

I wasnt joking, I'm fairly new to the forum and have read a LITTLE about your car but don't know how quick it is down the 1/4 mile. If we go off 1/4 times ill have a small dick anyway, lol Cos I'm only running 175 rear tyres=no grip in the first 3-4 gears

bit hard considering theres no drag strip ( :D ) in Adelaide What time would i have to beat though? out of interest :yes:

I leave on thursday (23rd) and come back on wednesday (29th). Obviously sat and sun I'm going to J17 but what else can i do the other days??? Friday/sat nights ill be going out and getting drunk, looking at heading to the casino atleast once as well. Also thoughts of: Quad bike hire Theme parks We have a hire car so transport isnt an issue :P

if you want to put a rotary in you will need to budget more than that :wink: Custom: mounts, exhaust, sump, tailshaft, clutch hydralics, radiator, oil cooler, fuel lines are all needed getting these made up becomes expensive, plus theres the cost of the motor+g/box

I'm running a S5 turbo g/box in my KE20, shifter sits just in front of the handbrake

locker=understeer until you clutch kick then oversteers big time ;)

my Ke20 will weight about 850kgs once finished, running S5 13BT+gearbox and some nice upgrades ill be looking at 150~rwkw :bash: should be a fun little package on the street with only 175's on the rear ;)
