  1. Ive got work commitments until 12pm so i would be pushing it to get there in time. But i will try, pending the car being ready :P
  2. sweets!!! good to know there a few KE2# terrorizing the streets..... Well, soon to be again anyway :P
  3. if you go see him with cash its alot cheaper :lolcry: don't buy them through ebay
  4. if your going to have it engineered your better off getting an LSD....... any none engineered modification (i.e. welded diff) will viod your engineers cert./insurance and leave you open for defects 8| either keep it completely legal/engineered or don't bother at all EDIT: now to answer your Q's Weld 2 plates like mentioned above. Driving style-i find clutch dumps work well  Just be careful in the wet, especially if your not use to how the car handles with a locker, it can be very dangerous in the wrong hands. But alot of fun IF treated with respect
  5. doesnt look like there much room for a filter.....
  6. Exactly!!! I'm running a small frontmount, which is matt black and hidden behind the standard grill. You can't even see it, to the untrained eye it looks like the radiator  Your best not to advertise that your car is turbo/modified these days.........
  7. Yes Alexis is great to deal with. Hes actual the guy i past your detials onto originally I gave him all your details and exactly what you were after, he said he would contact you if he could help
  8. ill be there with the SA Rotor boys  Not with the car, just me and lots of beers :) Ill be wearing a blue rotor top, come introduce yourself. I wont bite
  9. a) FTW!!! thats what I'm running :)
  10. couldnt agree more
  11. I'm running a modified torana radiator in my KE20. Basically just change the inlet/outlet to suit the rotary inlet/outlet. Didnt have any problems keeping a NA 13B extend port cool. Havent really test it with the turbo set-up but with some shrouding i have not doubts in its ability to keep it cool
  12. you might want to change that timeframe to.........THE REST OF YOUR LIFE :) I'm getting one on my chest in the near future. My advise, pick a design, location and size. If you still like it in 12-18 months times then get it. Any sooner and you have rushed it and will probably regret getting it. Ive had my design, size and location for over 2 years and still LOVE it so when i find the time/money/tatto artist I'm happy with ill be getting it
  13. yes this car has a genuine 380rwkw :) good to hear your upgrading the brakes, with the speed/acceleration this car is capable of its probably the smartest upgrade you could make Ive only seen this car on the streets once and fu#k did it disappear into the distant quick
  14. S4/5 engines are probably the easiest, but Cosmo or S6 13BT's can be made to fit as well, it just means a bit more fab work Get a S4/5 13BT block, change the front cover to a 12AT one and the sump to a early 13B sump and the rest is fairly straight forward. Use the S4/5 turbo gearbox as well (or a supra box) otherwise you will find that you will be replacing box every week Custom: engine mounts+Xmember g/box mounts+Xmember new tailshaft will need to be made diff upgrade fuel set-up upgrade and don't forget suspension and brakes :lolcry: For reliability you are better of starting with factory turbo 13B (i.e. the ones i listed above) as they have a lower compression ratio to suit boosted applications. As well as better oil/coolant lubrication throughtout the block. Many people have successfully turbo NA blocks, but due to the higher compression ratios care need to be taken with tuning and amount of boost used. starting with a turbo block leave far me apportunity to upgrade all "bolt-on accessaries" later done the track when you feel the need for more power. Ryan
  15. no, a 13B is a twin rotor with total capacity of 1.3L, each housing is 654cc or 0.654L :lolcry: They double to capacity due to the increased efficiency of the rotary combustion cycle when compared to a regular piston combustion cycle
  16. :P another ones coming to the dark side :bash: just remember, everythings legal until you get caught :lolcry:
  17. nothing wrong with the humble 12A, get it engineered witha stock motor then go big port. Bridgy or PP with a weber or injection would absolutely hammer in a KE30
  18. 2nd that :y:
  19. yeah sounds good, start organising it, unfortunately i don't have access to my car atm so can't take a measure but I'm sure 2 other people can :y:
  20. I'm keen for one as well :y: PM me please
  21. 1:20's round lalla is pretty quick  Brand new (stock) STI with semi-slicks run roughly 1:20-22's as a reference
  22. one off items can be very expensive, but i can put you in contact with someone who MAY be willing to help :)
  23. well this is grand final day with means alot of people wont be in any state to drive and people who work in hospitality will most probably have to work (me included unfortunately)
