youve done very well to build it for that price. Got any more vids?
  7. looks great, can't wait to see it out in some sunlight
  8. flairs look gd, really suit the car. Could really get some decent rubber under them too which is a massive bonus. Any idea how wide a tyre you could go in the rear?
  9. with your budget i would upgrade the shocks/springs all round. Upgrade to KE70 brakes (not hard or expensive) with new pads/lines. Total about $1000 the rest of would spend on keeping the K series motor and possibly turbocharging it. As long as you don't go too wide with your rear tyres your diff/gbox will hold up fine. The stock diff (locked) in my car lasted fine with 155rwkw provided i kept the stock rear wheels/tyres. A few people on here have had good results from turbo K motors, if done right theres no reason you can't double that power figure can't really help with the motor upgrades (don't play with pistons lol) but if you want more info about suspension/brakes PM me Cheers ****EDIT**** wealth of info here http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...0940&st=690 about turbo K motor
  10. second that
  11. love your work troy
  12. congrats, sounds like you need to make sure the rad is earthed properly to the body and the correct coolant is used to stop corrosion

  16. some ###### badged the front of this while parked in town last wk. NOT HAPPY!
  17. nice work! thought u would of mounted the oil cooler angled the other way how much clearance do you have between your crossmember and sump" your motor looks to be about where mine is and mine has had the crossmember cut and rewelded lower to give enough clearance
  18. looks good, unfortunate about the wheels. Should of done the flairing before paint, hopefully you can do it without damaging the paint
  19. updates???
  20. nice buy, i think a set of SILVER saab chasers would looks great on this. Paint the trims/surrounds the same silver to match
  21. this is just my opinion (so please choose to ignore it if you want lol) i think it would look alot better without a chopped grille looks like your cooler is about the same thickness as mine (altho alot bigger) and i managed to keep mine behind the grille JUST this is the clearest pic i have, all i did was cut/file from the inside edge of the grille Thought about mounting the oil cooler at an angle and tucked under some more so it doesnt stick out so much? IMO it would make the front look alot cleaner, keep them nice and shiny tho. Will look awesome with the shiny paint :jamie:
  22. looks good, this is going to be real tidy once finished
