  1. there a time and a place for everything, this is not one of them complete idiot who is ruining the modified car scene for everybody else He deserves everything he gets for it He has turned himself in FYI
  2. great choice of wheels I have OM17's for my RX7
  3. EXACTLY! took the car out to morgan this weekend, wasnt exactly a trouble free trip :( my low pressure fuel pump (that feeds my surge tank) gave up, lucky i have two primary pumps so with a bit of addition hose managed to rig up one was the pre surge tank pump and run only one primary pump. This was enough to get me home. The fuel set-up in the boot is now being changed, i will be running a LARGE fuel cell (sick of always filling up the tiny stock 35 litre tank), new surge tank and pumps. I will start to rip the old set-up out during the week
  4. exhaust should give you a nice little increase you power, retune is prob needed to get the best result
  5. black appears more standard, especially at night
  6. cheers scott yeh ive seen the ones on ebay, think that will be the way to go. Ill be sure to get some vids at the next off street event
  7. looking good! keep the updates coming
  8. cheers for the info cleaned up the front lenses today, unfortunately the orange isnt in very good nick (plastic is gd). So think ill buy some new lenses Before After
  9. I WISH! no drag strip in SA means ive never had the chance  Would love to tho, an interstate trip seems to be only hope at this stage tho
  10. i might go out with stopwatch for some testing lol
  11. not sure yet, depends on what strut i end up using. But I'm thinking either FC or GTR brakes yeh everything gets a nice coat of black before going into the engine bay lol
  12. Not to bad, its only tramps when its spinning the wheels slightly. So its either mass wheel spin or nice take off, anything in between and it tramps. Might look into some caltracs but for now i know how to drive around it so it doesnt tramp Cage was bought off a fellow RC member, i am extremely happy with how it fits. Nice and snug with the b pillar and the venetians hides it pretty well from the back. So its staying in the car haha thanks, i absolutely love the 'sleeper' look. This car is easily the difinition of "Go Before Show" Its a 60mm RACEONLY gate with a short 2inch screamer, cars sounds very deep and 'throaty' when it opens. Ill see if i can get some footage to post up
  13. haha cheers glad you liked it, didnt actually get to open it right up..... just not enough space Next on the to do list: coilover front end with 8kg front springs BIG front brakes bigger front swaybar new (wider) front tyres new rear tyres lol either restore the front lenses or buy new ones if I'm not happy with how they come up
  14. about time i got some pics up so i took some new one today. ENJOY! Current engine bay pics: new turbo set-up with turbo beanie, braided turbo oil feed, CF CAS cover, water spray bottle, radiator shroud rotor shape valve caps sparco seat, mounted to stock rails. Cage and new rear parcel shelf external gate and screamer pipe, excuse the mess havent had a change to clean it up since fixing my coolant leak :blinks: g/box crossmember modified to raise exhaust and some exterior shots for good measure, venetian seems to hide the cage quite well :lolcry: only a keen eye will spot the front mount intercooler and front mount oil cooler
  15. DONE! lol
  16. yeh thats what I'm currently running but used the original KE20 hubs to retain the 4x110 PCD, they will be more than enough for the K motor. Got any more info on the brake upgrade (or who i need to PM), should like what i need for my car
  17. drove the car out to uni today, its running perfectly :blinks: cooler weather+water spray seem to have made a decent performance improvement. Really didnt hav enough space to "test" it out properly tho
  18. CHEERS! you doing big brakes at the same time?
  19. looking gd mate Blokes at Prospect Tyre are great blokes, love there rotas and corollas. can't wait to see this thing complete
  20. next years bay to birdwood is for vintage cars, the following year is for the classics again. For you should have plenty of time to finish the car :)
  21. this is how ive always done it, as mentioned if it havnt been out before it will need a fair wack to get it out. Makes sure the car is secured properly and your not under it at all!
  22. can't wait to see the pics, doing it right the first time is always cheaper in the long run
