  1. AE92's are very common to have rust under the windscreen seals and it will leak through there...
  2. Sounds like a great event, would love to come if I wasn't working... But lucky for all you guys my friends will be doing promo work out there for you all to have a perv haha :)
  3. Should've come down to Albion Park, Frankies was hosting a car show and sound off haha... Next one is at their Nowra store on June 5th if anyone is interested...
  4. I'll see what I can do, think I'm at Eastern Creek for Fusion and then off to the city for the HOT4s White Party Model Comp if I have my dates correct... I'm sure I'll see it sometime soon though :)
  5. Car looks awesome Jase, very happy to see it on the road rather than in the shed over and over :P Engine bay finished up freekin awesome, can't wait to see it in the flesh...
  6. Awesome show and great to see some more Orange on the track :)
  7. $20 to machine is a normal trade price so thats great, you can get Genuine pads for around the same price, if not a little less... But thats my personal opinion :)
  8. Also, to answer your original question, with my experience, non genuine pads will always glaze up and squeal compared to genuine pads (in most cases)... Another reason why I use genuine pads, no noise and no dust :)
  9. Sand the discs and the pads, will fix your problems :)
  10. Good point about the South African models... Apart from the Sportivo (they are all made in South Africa), the other models are rubbish... Brake wear, oil leaks, differences in parts, etc... South African VIN numbers start with AHT Japanese VIN numbers start with JTE I believe But always check the build plate in the engine bay or passener front door to check...
  11. Tempe Tyres can do them for you... Always done a good job with my cars... Just gotta make sure you heat up the paint first so it doesn't crack and watch your panel gaps...
  12. Mmmm, I'll take the motor and box package for my car please haha :P
  13. You're prolly best off removing the drivers side shaft also and comparing the two... Also, check the spline condition on the shafts aswell as inside the box... Also, check the splines inside the hubs as they may be worn and slipping... Get some vernier calipers and check all your measurements...
  14. The front seats will suit any models and I'm pretty sure the back seats will also fit... Will only take about 5 mins to take them out and check anyway :lolcry:
  15. If you're looking at those two options, I'd definately choose the 2005 Conquest... All power options, alloys, nicer coloured interior plastics, etc... Only difference with the Ultima is leather seats and door inserts to my knowledge... Look up redbook for all features... All engines are the same, 1.8L 1ZZFE... As stated above, the less kms the better :)
  16. Find a genuine TRD item, can buy brand new from Castle Hill Toyota, around $450 or find them second hand for around the $200 mark... Genuine TRD are much better as they're made to fit and also made to connect your air flow sensor correctly...
  17. Also if you have someone else, get one to lift the bonnet release inside the car while the other is trying to lift the bonnet up... Usually gets it :)
  18. Could possibly be missing a brake pad clip from the calliper, allowing the pad to rattle inside the caliper bracket... Good idea to go over all the bolts around that area of the car, make sure they're all tight...
  19. I'm in Sydney North SX Seca - Daily 05 Stivo - Cruiser 99 Levin - Show Pony
  20. Most likely means you've pulled it out and off the boot??? Should still be fine, just repack them with grease, fit some new boots and clamps...
  21. We're back! On January 31, 2010, Rosehill Gardens is set to rumble with the sights and sounds of Australia's most spectacular exhibition of automotive culture. Showcar Sunday is back for its second year! Last year's inaugural show played host to superstars like Anthony "The Man" Mundine, music artists DJ Jam (Snoop Doggy Dogg's DJ - direct from America), celebrity choreographer, Nacho Pop and Rhiannon (from Channel 10's hit show So You Think You Can Dance), and Darren Mcmullen from MTV. If you thought this line up was huge, then you can't miss the next instalment of Showcar Sunday. It's going to be off the charts! Bigger Than Ever After the success of last year's show, Showcar Sunday has moved to Rosehill Gardens. The bigger venue was necessary to accommodate the anticipate increase in crowds and the surge of entries we've experienced. Showcar Sunday showcases the angled classic lines of supercharged muscle, the elegant flowing lines of high performance imports and the intricate engineering of custom choppers. The level of craftsmanship is set to be outstanding. Australia builds some of the best cars in the world, and the best Sydney has to offer is going to be on display on January 31, 2010.
