  1. Yes, there will be a little globe in the back of the switch, same as the wiper and demister controls...
  2. I might make a return to this event, family reunions have been made to be on the same weekend... Whats more important???
  3. This day is going to be massive... Queen St, Hook It Up.co and many others will all be cruising to Newport Beach aswell on this day haha...
  4. All supernats photos are now online for anyone thats interested  http://www.fullboost.com.au/story.php?secI...r=2009&go=1
  5. I did one last week and it wasn't too bad at all... Remove the air intake hose, battery, starter motor, all wiring to the gearbox, undo the gear linkage cables and speedo cable, remove the bolts holding the thermostat housing to the gearbox and the two upper bellhousing bolts... Jack the car up, drain out the gearbox oil, remove the driveshafts, lower crossmember and front and rear engine mounts with it... Also remove the plate covering the flywheel... Using a jack to support the sump, remove the passenger gearbox mount, lower the jack so the engine is on an angle, while supporting the gearbox, remove the final bellhousing bolts and lift the gearbox out... Remove clutch and flywheel assy, replace rear main oil seal, machine flywheel, install new clutch making sure it's in the centre (using your eye sight or a tool)... Clean out clutch dust from gearbox bellhousing and replace thrust bearing... Then put it all back together  I think thats about it, could possibly be more but you'll work it out along the way... Really not a difficult job, you, some mates and some beer and a Saturday :P
  6. Still remember the days when I was a kid, going to the Truck Racing, V8's and not to mention all the events that have been hosted there over the many years... Much better off keeping the Race Track rather than houses, make em live somewhere else :) Supernats today went off with a bang, shame it'll never be hosted there again... For anyone that wants to see pics, check out www.fullboost.com.au within the week
  7. It's an Air Resonator, keeps a whole lot of air available so when you decide to put your foot down it has enough air to match the fuel injecting into the engine...
  8. Any aftermarket wheel shop man... Tempe will hook you up :jamie: Also, very informative thread, I need to get longer studs for my AE112 on the back as I have 8mm spacers lol...
  9. Well done Marty, the car was immaculate in every way... ;)
  10. Get a new door from a wrecker and you should be able to fix the guard dent yourself, just push it out from the back... Also keep your door for spare parts if you should ever need them, window glass, reg, lock assy, handle, check strap and such...
  11. What happens if you sit at the lights in neutral??? Sounds like your clutch release bearing needs to be changed...
  12. Used to be round heaps, blew the motor in Jan and it's been off the road since around that time... Now you'll see me in either my white SX Seca or Black Sportivo Corolla :jamie: Hoping to have the orange one back on the road for Christmas lol...
  13. I usually cruise the beaches on a Tuesday night with a few mates from No Limits car club...
  14. Try your local markets, Parklea Markets (in Sydney - not sure of your location)... Also try Autobarn, Auto One, Supercheap Auto, etc...
  15. Yes, you are correct Towe... You have to remove the three circular clips on the inner beaver panel trim and you'll see the threaded holes in there... Note: Pic is from a hatch, there is only one hole on this trim in the Secas, the other two are in the outer side trims under the tail lights...
  16. I might have one for you... Have to wait and see if it gets picked up next week or not...
  17. Always see YBO7HA in the city on Sat nights...
  18. Take your car to a mechanic and get it pressure tested... Better off finding the leak now than after your car overheats and does damage...
  19. Mate of mine from Tassie owns it... Definately come a long long way over the years...
  20. When you do the water pump, you should always replace the cam and crank seals and timing belt... And when you do the timing belt, you should always replace the cam and crank seals and the water pump... Just for ease and convenience while it's all pulled apart...
  21. The 4AFE/7AFE engines are very well known for water pump and bypass hose coolant leaks... Everyone leaks sooner or later... Have a look down the back of your block and underneath your water pump, guarateed to be leaking from those areas...
  22. The same amount as what came out  Dry fill you'd be looking at around 3L I would think... Make sure the car is parked on level ground, trans in park and the dipstick goes all the way in...
  23. Check your ECU codes and go from there...
  24. Penrith KKz and Livo KKz are always Thursday night meetups...
