  1. Adam thinks people speaking in the third person is okay if only done occassionally. Both Adam and Adam think Stephen sucks. :) Quote that, bitch.
  2. Adam ALWAYS wants new cars. Adam is finally getting where he wants to be in life and doing things he's planned on doing for MANY years - not big things, just things I've wanted to do. Adam is at a happy place in his life in many ways, which is great, because many of the previous 22 years sucked in a lot of ways.
  3. Remember I want the diff/axle assembly. Preferably with the rear brakes, but okay if not. BTW, Aristo's are actually starting to look to good to me. Not the six cylinder, but the AWD V8 version. Two available at the moment (not that I've got anywhere near the money): http://www.drive.com.au/used-cars/TOYOTA/A...818664&pt=1 http://www.drive.com.au/used-cars/TOYOTA/A...818664&pt=1 Pity the front end looks so boring on Aristos. I like the taillights on the dark coloured one, but hate the spoiler thing it's got. One of these would be awesome with a towbar, and the engine stroked out to 5.0/5.2L with a Whipple/Sprintex supercharger sitting on top. Should have about 500hp and torque to spare. Great for towing cars, even better for out-dragging V8 Commodores - even with the car trailer on the back. It'd be super-sweet if it could be converted to manual. It'd be quicker than the Audi RS4 I want, but MUCH cheaper (about $30,000 vs. $150,000). But they're so much more expensive than SC400's. :) I'll wait a few years for the prices to crash then buy one. :bash:
  4. Meh, I almost hope Bilal has car issues. But then, if he has car issues, then he's just got to do more dodgy stuff to get money for repairs.
  5. Nope - haven't seen Bilal's Silvia. I haven't driven the GT-Four in two-three weeks, so I can't WAIT to have some fun in it again. And I haven't driven the KE55 since 22 July 2007, and haven't had a proper drive of it for some time since before then. I'm hoping it runs well when I get going again. I miss it a lot - racing in it again will be awesome. Plus it'll be great to race against Anthony's Integra, as it should be a close battle (with me winning) - unless I get all the mods I want done before the first race, in which case I should hose him. I hope you get A03 Shane - that would be awesome for you! I REALLY hope you don't miss out on a new contract.
  6. Sounds good. BTW, please stop putting quotes from me in your signature - that goes for all of you.
  7. Congratulations. Unfortunately that means you're now making more than me - as a level 4 at the uni I make $39,333, minus 7% I have to salary sacrifice to my superannuation. I'm keeping an eye out for level 5 positions. I was tempted to apply for an A04 in Planning & Infrastructure, but I couldn't make up my mind. Applications close tomorrow, so I won't be applying. :D
  8. Is that to make the Suzuki sit higher? I need to lower the leaves on the rear of the KE55. I've got KE70 wagon springs thanks to Gregor, now I need to see if they fit.
  9. In order: Yuck, it's got a rotor. Hell yeah! And it's a manual - they're RARE. Mmm, GT-Four's - it pisses me off how cheap they are in NZ. But they're only the regular version, not the WRC/Group-A like I have.
  10. Cool. When's the wedding and how long are you staying? They get sweet & uncommon models there.
  11. How sweet are these two cars? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-135560919.htm http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/S...n-135219034.htm The AE92 looks cool in that orange with the grey accents. And the AE72 (or whatever it would be called) is groovy.
  12. LOL - I'm so old they hadn't invented snow when I was young.
  13. You're definitely sick, Gregor. I was actually trying to encourage these young'uns to come give a hand. It's proving harder than I thought though. Damn youth of today. Back in my day we had more morals and hard-working spirit. When I was a lad, for 23.5 cents you could buy a 75 ounces bottle of Coke (with real cocaine!), a 3 bushels of confectionary, with enough change to buy a thirty acre property with enough head of cattle to retire on!
  14. Nope. Nope - turbo's suck. 5000.
  15. Okay, I'll be in touch to let you know what time I'll pick you up. So are any of you other guys now feeling guilty enough to come and help out? Shane? Stephen? Come on - neither of you will actually be that busy. Plus this will be fun!
  16. Sweet as. Do you want me to come pick you up in the morning?
  17. Is that an actual time or a computer estimate?
  18. There's not a lot in it from what I gather. We just need the people there to do it. I'm not 100% on what I'll be doing, as I haven't been told yet. We'll know more on the day. All I know is that I've got to setup the muffler throwing competition, so I presume I'll set the throwing point and stand by with a measuring tape or something.
  19. So you're not helping either then Stephen? Come on guys, it doesn't take much effort and it'll be something fun and different to do.
  20. Surely you could take some time to come give a hand - it'll be a really fun day.
  21. Feel guilty then. Think of the children! Poor emaciated little bastards with all the diseases under the sun. Hear them cry and cough as they try to call your name. "Shane," they cry. "Shane, help us. We're so sick & hungry. Why won't you help us?"
  22. As I've mentioned previously, the Australia Day Ute Run is on again this Saturday 26 January. At least three more helpers are needed to help out with the muffler throwing competition. Could a few of guys join me? We can all pile into my Corolla, and I'll bring an esky with a few drinks for us all. Should be a fun day, plus we'd be helping raise money for the Variety Club, which is always a good thing. Post up here if you're coming along with me - that way anyone that doesn't reply or doesn't help will feel really guilty and will have to change their mind. :2thumbs: BTW, which would be a better tow vehicle - a Hilux or a V8 Soarer/SC400/LS400? :hmm: Soarer: http://www.drive.com.au/Search/SearchResul...amp;sf=priceasc SC400: http://www.drive.com.au/Search/SearchResul...amp;sf=priceasc LS400: http://www.drive.com.au/Search/SearchResul...amp;sf=priceasc Mmm, 1UZ-FE bored & stroked to 5.2L with a supercharger sitting in the middle... an easy 450hp should make the KE55 easy to tow.
  23. That is one Mcf@$ked conrod!!! Weekend was okay. Sat around and did absolutely nothing on Sunday (not by choice). I wanted to go work on the KE55, but Alley took a while to get up, then we were meant to go out and do some stuff, but she stuffed around and then had to go to work. I was pretty pissed off as I'm all revved up about getting the KE55 done now I've seen Anthony's Integra. I should be able to beat him, but I want to be certain. :hmm:
  24. I may have said that, but for the life of me I can't remember where I'd found them.
  25. I did??? I know they're available, but most are from Thailand and are apparently shitty. There's also Dellow A-to-W bellhousings available which are also apparently shitty. Not sure just how bad either version is, but I think the issues were that the items were badly cast.
