  2. well i got a delivery today Southern ways are in the build for this 15 x 8 ? offset sneek peek pic of new outers... off for a weld and then i will be polishing and assembling them
  3. my new front rims ... 15 x 9 .0 offset Heroes racing mesh going away for a re-roll on outers and the usual polish and powdercoat on centres will be on the car soon ...

  6. enough to get them to fit, hand flaired to suit rims at this ride height , so no issues at a more "sane" ride height
  7. these are 15 x 7 +1 front 15 x 7.5 +2 rear 195/50/15 tyres all 4 guards flared ride height will determine if they "fit"
  8. no just sold him the rims and tyres . fixed all the rust and flared the guards to suit.. soon to be ca18 det drift pig

  10. mufflers are now removed and car is now fitted with a 2 inch straight through under diff exhaust with a 60mm twin pipe rear section ( pig pipes ) :) only around 110 Db ... sounds totally different to any other 4k now has a bass rumble at idle and on the move

  12. was unablto attend on friday as i was up the coast dropping off my engine crane to a guy who wanted to borrow it should be there next week though
  13. small ports will produce good hp with headwork and cams ( good breathing ) my old one on carbs made 127hp atw with headwork only and 40mm dellorto's (34mm chokes) aftermarket electronic dizzy and extrators and exhaust

  17. its a quick way to roll up the inner lip, the little rust will be repaired very shortly , as soon as the new rims are together they will be properly rolled /flared to suit outers are almost here for the southern ways , they are currently getting their second heat treatment done to make them 6061 grade, should have 2 semi together (unpolished ) for a weekend test fit and photo opportunity.

  21. i vote dx flat front or quad front easier to make look tough with flares and big rimmzz slants have better drive lines than flat fronts so i would do what littleredspirit is doing with his nanna shell. slant to dx front = win
  22. resonator looks to be a long way back on the pipe? might help with back pressure?
  23. i ran 185/60/13 onmy ke andat 100 km/h it was revving at 3400 rpm swapping toa 15 with a 195/50 revs dropped to 3200 rpm at 100 going to a 205/50/16 on a 16 x 8 dropped revs to 3000 rpm all speeds were done via a gps.. so you can see that there is a 400 rpm difference between 13 and 16 in rims/tyres biggest problem with a 17 inch rim on a ke is the way the inner guards are designed it is possible to run them but the car will be high off the ground and the "flare" section does not cope with the increased diameter as for brake upgrade , in the end the braking performance is only as good as the tyres grip. .
